Not a bit of it. If I'd posted "Rumour has it we've asked them to stop with the social media stuff and if true they have, it surely means they've taken no means no" You'd have said "No it doesn't". I now think you're getting a bit defensive about it.

Oh and telling someone to move on rarely achieves the desired outcome.

Ps tge latest at work rumour is 120mill plus a player.

The only players we need are up front and possibly a centre mid. So unless it’s one of Ekitike, Slobs, Kevin McAllister or GravelPit, then fuck off its cash only.

For the amounts bandied about, they could've bought Sesko and Woltemade and avoid all the toxic hassle. Wonder why they are so hell-bent on indulging this circus.

Edit: By "they", I mean Liverpool.

Think they honestly thought they could low ball and get him. Don’t think they’ll try at £150 mill. They know we need a replacement and time is running down. I also think Yasir won’t deal with them after their shenanigans.

Weakens someone who’s just beat them in a cup final, and will be troubling them in future seasons. Also the most sure thing for the win mode they’re in now. Don’t give Salah / VVD new wealthy deals then sign Wirtz for £100m to view it as a building block for next few seasons. They’re in “We have to win everything going for next 2-3 seasons” mentality, and Isak is as close to the best thing they can get for striker.

Just hope it blows up this season, because after selling some youth (and more next summer to balance things), they’ll be a bit stagnated squad wise.

Because it has completely derailed our pre season.

I suppose they didn't anticipate it to be so long, toxic and drawn-out as it is now. Now everyone's time is being massively wasted, and both ourselves and them don't have the time for any sort of quality replacement anymore (with their "brand recognition" they can still go in for Woltemade or Samu tbf, much better chances than us). If Ekitike was the Nunez replacement, they're still short of the Diaz and Jota replacements, and have just realised that VVD needs cover this season too.

Nghouma is the Diaz replacement.

Back up for Etitike would need to be Wirtz as a false 9, or Gakpo played there and Nghouma / Chiesa at LW.

Amazing that Ngumoha is only going to turn 17 end of the month. I don't suppose he'd be used every match when Gakpo is still playing on the left.

Probably a good course of action at this point is to tamper down calling Isak this and that, since the re integration would be a whole lot easier that way. The last thing we need is sone knuckle dragger threatening him in some way.

Theres going to be movement, don't see how this is resolved now. No party respects the other, sell at the best price and worry about what we do after

My money is on movement along the walk of shame and reintegrating him.

It takes a lot to improve Liverpool tbf. Sesko and Woltemade are not proven in the same class as Isak.

I'd say he has absolutely no wishes to speak to our manager or his team again and unless it means not going to a world cup, he will stick to it

He isn’t going to sit out the entire season. Theres no chance of that happening. It’s a desperate throw of the dice. We need to stand firm in the face of Liverpools non offer.

See again Kane, Suarez, etc... same scenario, same petulance, there's always a way back.

can't wait to see what obnoxiously dumb twists and turns this saga has left  might pop on a final season rewatch of game of thrones just for laughs.

The Mrs asked me what was happening, I explained. "It's football love island" she replied.
