There was mention earlier in the window of this being the agent’s final major sale before retiring. Can only hope it’s his final sale because he’s about to get final destination’ed through a twenty foot spike

Sadly that’s not how it works, apparently he can only be fined a maximum of 7 weeks wages in a 12 month period, for the same offence

From everything I understand, there's not a deal on the table for us to reject so I've no idea what the fuck he's playing at here.

 

Are we expected to phone Liverpool and tell them they can have him? Are we supposed to suggest the price, or to just agree to anything? I cannot comprehend his thought process.

 

Teams bid for players and get told yes or no. The "owning" club shouldn't and never has been in charge of driving the deal, that's just not how it works.

Last night was a disaster for him in that Ekitike scored again, they’ve now scored seven in two games with Salah barely contributing but conceded four to a bare bones Bournemouth and our injury-ravaged (and Isak-less) 10 men.

Their priority is crystal clear: a centre-half.

Players come and go all the time, part of life. I vividly recall losing Waddle, then Beardsley and then Gazza all within 3 years or so. It stung a lot as a young kid but you kind of understood they were leaving a club that didn't aspire to anything, for clubs that did.

 

This guy...fuck me. He was basically a club legend until this. It absolutely beggars belief he's doing this, it's not like we're a club just making up the numbers, we're actually trying our level best to compete. Is all this rancor and making himself look the biggest cunt going really worth it for some extra money and a trophy or 2? All he had to do was conduct himself properly and wait a year and he'd have got his move. What a kick in the nuts, guy is a fucking disgrace and should be castigated and ostracized until his career is over.  Doing all this with one of the tightest dressing rooms and most incredible coaches in the league, who made him the player he is, lost for words.
