Super Duper Branko Strupar
If he comes back and plays, we can cheer the goals he scores as a team, but fuck singing his name. Done with this cunt now. We're getting the money we deserve and it'll be done properly and we'll use that money to make us even better. He can go for asking price to whoever in Jan or next Summer and we'll be buying a replacement and a backup and also sounding out other players to come in. Also, all of this must start now! Get a shift on Yasir. Instruct the club to reject all bids regardless this window, get the people in we need, sit round the table with Eddie and plan our team for the next 3 years+ Edited August 26, 2025 by Super Duper Branko Strupar

JigsawGoesToPieces
If he is refusing to train should withdraw his access to facilities like the training ground, medical staff, fitness coaches, sports scientists, psychologists etc Fine him 2 weeks wages for every match he misses and if he wants to keep fit or needs advice it can come out of his own pocket

SiLvOR
Again, why the desperation for Liverpool? Anyone with half a brain can see they're not legit contenders, especially if they splurge another £150M on another attacking player. He'd have a much better pick of clubs next summer, just impossibly stupid from him and his agent. Pair of cunts.

Let Isak take us to CAS, see how that works out for him. Isn't there a precedent set years ago about a player buying out his contract? The Webster rule or something? Is Isak being cheap? Marcotti mentioned on his podcast last week I think it was and this is a very rough recollection as wasn't paying too much attention, that at the end of each season the player has a small window (maybe 15 days) that he can essentially tell the club he isn't playing for them anymore and join another club, compensation will be decided by a tribunal and will only include stuff like wages outstanding over the remainder of the contract, and that the tribunal ruling would take somewhere in the region of 18 months, so if we don't sell for max value, we are playing dangerous game, or something along those lines, as I said, wasn't paying too much attention, but it's a newish ruling

Additionally, he wouldn't be able to join another English club. It's not really a concern at all. If he's not prepared to give up on a loyalty bonus by putting in a transfer request this window, he's not going to pay tens of millions of pounds, when he'd likely be sold anyway that summer. Weezertron
Not sure he gives a shit about being a club legend here (doesn't need to be said at this point tbh). We were his stepping stone (fair enough). As long as he's a legend at Liverpool or Real Madrid after us is all that matters in terms of legacy. Shak
My preference is to sign two strikers and then loan him to Turkey or Saudi after the English deadline passes. We will get less for him next summer in all likelihood but we should get a loan fee this year to offset to some extent. Even still, long term getting 100m for him after the end of June next summer is much the same as getting 120 for him now. (This of course depends on how our PSR figure is looking for next season. If signing two strikers without selling him this summer puts us in major danger, maybe we have to bite the bullet and let him go)

I don't want him to be a legend, I want him to put his big boy pants on, bang in some goals like he's being handsomely paid to do so and leave on amicable terms at a time which is convenient for everyone involved. This narcissistic, childish tantrum is pathetic, selfish and ruinous.

KennyUtd
He's never playing for us again and i couldn't give a shit. This has gone on for far too long now and we're looking like stupid cunts while he mopes away with his agent spilling shite. YAR should have spoken to him 3 weeks ago, it's too late and his mind's made up. As much as I hate saying it, we need to move him on. I don't think we can win this one. The media are always gonna be on Liverpool's side, never mind the odd dissenting voice. It's a soap opera we don't need imo. Don't fuckin pile on me, it's just an opinion. Weak to who though? Not to the squad clearly. Watching last night, there's a fkn togetherness there that he can't spoil. We're much bigger than this cunt and he'll be forgotten about in a few years. Eddie is much more important and if he wants him gone I'm fine with that. For the record I think he does too. Bloke looks fkn sick of answering questions about the skinny arsehole. gbandit
Wonder if this has potential ramifications for other players down the line. Can imagine lots of owners are looking at this situation and thinking “I don’t want this to happen to us.” What’s the potential that this could usher in tighter regulations on what players can get away with? Would be quite something if Isak ends up making things shitter for other players in the future

Just wondering if the club did put out such a statement, to basically kill off any chance of Liverpool getting him this window, that it could potentially backfire if some club did them a favour, you know, out of mutual respect for such a respectful to deal with club? Put a 200% sell on clause if he ever signs for Liverpool in his career.
