If thats a ture translation im surprised. After the Villa game all the player interviews suggested they didnt want him back

I reckon they’ve been told to go on the charm offensive for a couple of reasons:

1) if Isak backs down then they’d possibly have to try and accept reintegration

2) we need his value at the peak it can be this window

It’s a tightrope of a window for Eddie and the players to walk. They can’t ever let on how they feel. The fact that a number of things have come through from the players’ sides shows how much disdain they hold Isak in. They’ll fucking hate him for him thinking he’s better than them. It’ll be a proper us vs him mentality for almost everyone in the squad now, bar Willock

JSL, Wissa, Jackson are all a massive downgrade on Isak they should be the Wilson replacement.

If we cant replace Isak he stays

We can’t look at things that way because of PSR though. Sometimes teams improve by selling their star player and replacing them with multiple different options.

Don’t think at this point we are trying to replace Isak. We only want Wilson replacements. Isak will have to get fit and earn his place after the 1st.

Probably recognise we'd be sat on 6 rather than 1 point with him in the team. They'll want to be as successful as they possibly can be, Isak will help achieve that.

hope he does play if he's still here next month.

dont wont him left to rot and not play.

rather have £150m.

Of course he’s going to play, do you really think in a World Cup year he’s going to not play a game of football in basically 12 months?

Even if he is still here can't see him playing until October, no preseason, need to get him back training with squad and then to trust the sly cunt, him getting his retarded head straight. Who knows what kind of play we get back.

Just let him rot for the whole season and bring 2 in, still make 120 million end of season anyway.

And sometimes they take the money and spend it on garbage and are in a much worse position than they started.
