Lotus Posted Thursday at 14:57 Share Posted Thursday at 14:57 More than off the pace. He didn’t look like he knew how to insert himself into the game. Often had poor movement and was ineffectual. Even if he was just asked to occupy a couple of CBs while we attacked from width, he didn’t really manage that. Anyway, hopefully he’s back on the money for Ipswich. Ronaldo
Had absolutely no doubts he’d score today. Outrageously brilliant striker. Best ever to play for us, surely?

Ronaldo
Much more complete player than Shearer. Since when is a decade the barometer of quality?

But Alex is only 25, his best years may well be ahead of him.

Seriously as a footballer Isak is miles more talented than Shearer. It isn't even close. That being said the same gap exist when we talk about the ability to be a traditional number 9. Erikse
It's funny, because like 1-2 months ago we were here discussing whether he can fit into our system at all. Lets not have that discussion again, unless the system completely changes. Edited 15 hours ago by Erikse

Andy
I think people tend to remember Shearer at the end of his career. At Blackburn in particular he was miles ahead of Isak, and that isn't a knock on Isak by any means.

It does help that he’s scored another two since. I said it over a year ago. He’s absolutely irreplaceable with any amount of money.
