Obviously want him to stay, one of the best strikers in the world.

A bigger debate, but i don't think any player in the world is actually worth £150m unless you're talking Messi/Ronaldo levels where its a certain known.

£80-100m has been somewhat normalized. Once that has happened £150m+ has to become the price for a player many have called the best centre forward in Europe.

If Wirtz is the best part of £120m, discussions for Isak don't start until you hit £150m for me.

Acclimatised to the PL, plays a massive role for his country internationally, and has proven his natural goal scoring ability over and over again.

All the above come at a price, and a hefty one at that.

As I've said many times , he won't be going anywhere this summer as no market exists at a price which would make sense for us.

Next summer it will depend on if he resigns, if he doesn't we will have to part ways, id still expect between 100-120m though.

Rather keep Isak and see him go £0 than ever sell him to a Prem side. He’s fun, and I want us to enjoy him and not another side, otherwise what’s the point in football.

You do realise in your scenario he could go to a premier club on a free?

You're talking about a tiny number of clubs that might be in the market for him at the price it would take. Wouldn't worry about it for at least another season. Even then, you need a perfect match of a team with £120m+ to spend on one player and no world class striker already playing for them.

I tell you one thing I can't wait till he signs a new contract/fucks off so the weekly rumours of him leaving are actually done. It's getting beyond a joke now.

I'd rather have him here and weekly rumours of him fucking off than him actually fucking off mind

Selling him at the right time for the club is paramount. Sell at the apex of his value and we could unlock PSR for a trans-formative amount. It will probably be next summer if he doesn't re-sign. He's never struck me as someone like Bruno who has completely fallen in love with NUFC. He will move on to a "better" club, but we should take full advantage of that move.

We shouldn't be selling him!

When would be the right time to sell for the club though? When his value is highest? That’s probably now.

So if the club do we have to trust them. I certainly wouldn't want to but it will come.

Nothing in the rules about our chairman giving Isaks parents a gift of £100 million and Isak signing a £1 a week contract

Im pretty sure that’s what brought City to UEFA’s attention😂

I disagree about the failing in love with the club part. I think he absolutely loves it here, he's just not as open about it. Like Bruno is.

Hope the club don't have such a defeatist mind set!

It's not defeatist... If he stays and breaks Shearers goal scoring record for us I'll be as ecstatic as anyone. We all know that's not going to happen though.

And so be it. Rather that happen and enjoy three seasons of him than sell before.

Give over man. It's not defeatist, it's just a fkn reality. Whenever a club like Liverpool come sniffing around, a player's head will always be turned. Nowt wrong in admitting that they are the facts. He'll know if he goes there he'll be almost guaranteed top trophies. It's not like he's a local boy and has any massive emotional pull here. The sooner we get our heads around that the better. I absolutely hope he stays for ages but it's very unlikely.
