Dunno if it's an age thing, but I put a lot of stock in off-field influence these days rather than just about how much of a good player someone is. 

 

Don't get me wrong like, I think we have enough players like that (Trippier, Burn, Bruno, Lascelles, Murphy) but I care about it a lot more now than when Alan Smith was apparently a good influence in 09/10.

I wonder if he practices hypnotism or something which he uses on opposition players, because despite being woefully inept and offering zero positive contribution,  his teams get results

Na I think that’s a fair point, Ritchie will very much be around the squad for that reason I reckon

We’re gonna drop out of the top four at some point, it’s inevitable as our squads just not there yet so just enjoy the ride.  For me the target is a top 6 finish this season and anything else is amazing, even 6th is fantastic.
