We want a PSG win to cement 3rd right?

Aye, realistically. A draw would be OK as we'd at least have it in our hands on the final day, but if Milan lost tonight and drew in Dortmund, then we'd just need a point in the final match.

Don't understand why people want a PSG win, rather Milan win and tightens the group up totally and keeps qualification within our hands.

PSG win, it will bid the top two positions goodbye.

Makes no sense at all

If Milan win qualification is still in our hands. Draw is great too (or potentially better?)

Don't think there's a bad result for us in this. Milan winning gives us a chance to still qualify, draw doesn't really mean anything and PSG winning keeps the third spot in our own hands with Milan still having to come to SJP.

A big problem with the way in which VAR is being assessed is that the views of players and ex-players (ie pundits and managers) are getting too much attention. If they do understand the principle of a 'clear and obvious error', they often seem to forget it when they start piping up. And so many decisions are a matter of opinion.

Thinking about it, a lot of pundits not only don't seem to have experience of refereeing, their grasp of the rules seems quite shaky.

The skill-set required for a ref is different from that of a player. The idea that things would be improved if more ex-professional players became refs is fanciful. Becoming a top-class ref entails a long apprenticeship and involves a mindset that is quite different from the fiery competitor.

There are some honourable exceptions here, notably our guy and Postecoglou, and I know that managers are under pressure, but really they should button it more. In the long run, I don't think they're doing their teams any good  - it ends up as a distraction and a downer.

This becomes even more of a problem when you factor in the noise generated by the social media wallopers, who clearly don’t know the rules. If I hear one more influencer mention that they didn’t check for handball for our goal. I mean it’s not like the accidental handball rules have been in place for ages.

likewise that AFTV windowlicker Lee trying to say that the gaol had to be offside because there always has to be two players behind the ball if a pass is made. He must’ve been really confused watching Chelsea spring the offside trap and beating the keeper with 2v1 last night FFS ??

And what ends up happening is despite them not knowing the rules, they berate the officials and start building conspiracy narratives.

With half of our team injured or suspended, we are not beating PSG in Paris.
