I'm happy with that not being given as a foul, keeper makes a hash of it and Adebayo is way stronger in backing in/shielding, but the issue is that's wildly inconsistent with so many nothing "fouls" that do get given on keepers, so I can certainly understand Burnley being pissed off.

I really don't know the exact rules, but I would assume that VAR would stick with the onfield decision here regardless of what the refs decision was, as it seemed like a close call.

If the one on Dubravka away at Wolves that allowed Boly to score a few years ago was apparently legit and not a foul, there's not a chance in hell Adebayo's was earlier. Trafford was just weak and jumped too late.

I feel it’s ones of those that if the keeper would have clearly got there the body check would have been deemed a foul, but as it happened the keepers never getting to that ball with Adebayo in the way or not.
