Shamrock were 8/11, Shelbourne evens due to the respective fixtures. Rovers currently a goal up, Shels still 0-0, so Shamrock winning on goal difference at it stands. Aye, be a bit crap if Rovers won it given they've been mediocre at best all season but it's been an insanely competitive season even if there's been no clear standout team. I've got Galway on, currently losing 1-0 to Bohs

I've always liked the name and they were my go to team on CM 00/01. 18 years is a long time with no title for a fairly prominent team when it's only a 10/12 team league, and especially when they did win 5 titles in 8 years in the late 90s / early 00s. I've actually got it streaming on my phone in the background on Bet365.

I have a Galway season ticket, weirdly felt like we had an outside chance of winning it (or at least getting a Europe spot) a few weeks ago - but not to be. Great to see the league thriving at the minute. St Pats also going to be very strong next season based off current form and with Stephen Kenny in charge, hard to break the Dublin cartel. Dandy Man Posted Friday at 21:42 Share Posted Friday at 21:42 Shels and Duff win the league, definition of grinding it out all season Galway finish 5th - best season in 20+ years - bit surreal having both the teams I support performing competitively at the top level tbh

Been some real dark days for Shels over the last 15 years and to win the Irish league is nothing short of a miracle, Duffer has done an incredible job. Thought they were going to bottle the league after not winning in 11 before winning their last 3 and away at Derry City too. Get in!!

Village Idiot Posted Saturday at 14:52 Share Posted Saturday at 14:52 (edited) Ridiculous that La Liga is playing this weekend with what's happening in Valencia. Heck, many managers are saying that players are just in no mood to play. But the spice must flow. Edited Saturday at 14:52 by Village Idiot
