City's high press has gone. They used to be able to win the ball back straight away and dominate possession. Without it, their slow build-up looks ineffective. Expand Not in the least bit surprised he didn't come through at Man City under Pep. He doesn't know what to do with this sort of powerful, rumbling, driving midfield ball carrier. He's currently making a mess of Matheus Nunes and even going way back, sent Yaya Toure on his way from Barca, and we saw how he terrorised the Prem in the same sort of manner.
