I think Van Nistrilroy was as surprised as anyone else he got the job

Gentle reminder that some posters on here who think a lot of their own opinion reckoned that we should have given Ruud the job until the summer.

No one thinks you should have, we all hoped you’d give it to someone as shit as could be.

There is a difference.

Just seen this on the bbc live page, he might be the worst goalkeeper to have played at least 25 PL games :

Wolves three goals have come from an expected goals total of 0.41. Not a good look for Danny Ward.

He's a midfielder that has scored nearly 200 goals.

His finishing is still bad. Regularly misses the goal completely on good chances. 100 of those goals must be penalties and free kicks.

Sky need to get their finger out and let us watch all the games instead of subjecting us to this awful match

What’s wrong with El Torieco?

Do you not appreciate something to send you to sleep on a Sunday afternoon?

For what it’s worth, from next season all non Saturday 3pm KO’s will be on TV.

Not equipped for this league at all and they've made some potty decisions

I kna the keeper is due to injury but Ward, Vestergaard and Coady being the base of your spine in 2024-25 is honking. Justin is abysmal these days as well.

Leicester fans last week were devastated that he was brought on at HT, seems there is a valid reason why.

Thought they'd struggle, they had an abysmal summer and made terrible managerial appointments, but they're even worse than I thought they'd be, garbage squad.

Ah so only 100 goals from midfield. Fair enough.

Forgot you don't need finishing or composure for free kicks and pens either.

He's a good finisher. Just missed some chances recently is all. Happens them all.

Plenty think we should have. A couple of here did. Thought we should have kept Ruud over getting Amorim because he'd steady the ship until summer.

Waited far too long to sack Rodgers in 2022-23, how that team went down is beyond me. Now they’re reaping the effects of that relegation, they are dreadful.

Scoring from the spot and on free kicks isn't the same as scoring in open play.

He's an attacking midfielder that should get a lot of goals, and he's had a long career to accumulate those numbers.

He's a poor finisher that gets a lot of chances, and the last two seasons he's gotten noticably worse.

Don't misinterpret it to say that I think he's a bad player btw. He's great, even if he's an annoying rat bastard.

And yet they ran the table in the Championship pretty much, winning games easily. The gap is Marianas Trench vast these days between a good champo side and a functional PL side.

But I think RvN at Man U works. At least short term

Leave him to it. He doesn't get it.

The way RVN was setting up was clearly more suited to this basic set of footballers currently at Man U.

It's looking similar to the issues under ETH, the players don't seem able to get their heads around the tactics. ETH ended up trying to change from what he did at Ajax and failed miserably.

Let's see what Amorim does. The players are just not good enough for how he wants to play.

It's clearly the terrible squad of players at Leicester.

Appointing Cooper and making signings like Oliver Skipp for £20m, then sacking Cooper after the first game after an international break.  That club has been an utter shambles for the better part of 3 years. Mad after they were the envy of non big 6 clubs between 2015-2021.
