Couldn't have gone much better I suppose. Demoralising defeat in a competition they had big hopes of winning. Extra time energy sap and a couple of injuries potentially. 

 

Not that it drastically improves our chances but better than if they had won comfortably. 

 

If they play with any of the speed and intensity they did tonight at times against us then we'll get steam rolled.

You're not wrong but I think that's just a Dutch thing, having met many. They are a 'confident' bunch. Think the reason Netherlands teams often underperform in cup competitions is that clash of huge egos in the dressing room.

I used to think he was overrated and always injured. Could dance across the pitch but lacked consistent end product, but he's bossing it now. Sort of surprised as its taken him so long to blossom.
