They're doing really well and are top on merit but I'm convinced that it's only a matter of time before they feel the pressure and struggle to keep it going. I'm not slagging them off or saying they're shit but I have zero confidence in them seeing it through and staying top come Easter and actually winning it. Youngest squad in the league won’t do them any favors either. I think, like you said, that they’ll fall off the pace eventually or the moment will get too big. It’s between us and City. toon25
Lampard should just fuck football off tbh. He isn't in the least interested in doing beyond the bare minimum and looking to improve his knowledge of the game. The antithesis to wor Eddie. Sean
VAR gives them the tools, they just refuse to use them fairly. Other way around that's a penalty all day.

Abacus
Be interested to see how we do against this Arsenal team. There's nothing scary about them, from what I've seen. I mean, they're doing brilliantly so far, but it looks like you can get after them.
toon25
Guedes has never looked like anything other than a competition winner when I've seen him this season.

Tiresias
They're good this arsenal so far (this season, not this game which seems a bad example), good defensively and more creative attacking then they have been, they're much better than the team we beat end of last season, but they do look ragged and tired this game. Still think we'd certainly run them close, few teams press as effectively as we do Edited November 12, 2022 by Tiresias
The College Dropout
I was saying weeks back. Lampard was doing a Pardew. Get good committed characters in. Stick together and work hard - you can pick up some clean sheets and a few wins. But actual coaching? Not to be seen.

gbandit
Arsenal look incredibly well coached and organised, on top of having some great quality in their side. Really didn’t expect this from them and Arteta has impressed me far more than I ever imagined he would

Tiresias
think Partey is more important for them, kind of think they're mostly poor when he's injured and then good again when he's back
