Paullow
Personal preference / dislike aside, what are people hoping for in the Man Utd vs Brighton match tomorrow? If Brighton were to win, then, like us, they may have the final on their minds for a game or two prior to the big occasion, which may help us, but on the other hand, if we were to lose tomorrow and Spurs and Liverpool pass us and we finish 6th then Brighton winning the FA Cup would mean that we played Europa Conference instead of Europa. Less likely Villa will knock us into 7th, but if that was the case, then we wouldn't be in Europe at all with a Brighton win. They would of course have to beat Man City in the final, which they would be sizable underdogs, but we've seen Leicester and Wigan win as underdogs in the past 10 years, and even Bruce's Hull coming within a whisker of beating Arsenal. If we were to finish at least 5th then the final would have no bearing on us. I'm probably hoping Brighton win and then if we finish 4th or 5th, hope they go on to win the final (as the league will have finished by then), but if we are 6th / 7th then obviously hope that Man City win. Geordie Ahmed
I want Brighton to win because it means Man-U will lose
Cronky
There's a lot of hype around Ten Haag and what he's supposedly achieving at Man U - it got very irritating after the Carabao Cup Final. So yes please, a Brighton win.
gbandit
Definitely, Howay the seagulls. Hope they smash Man U

Stifler
At this point, I’d rather have a Man Utd win, just to maximise our chances of getting into Europe if we were to fall away at the last stage.

Paullow
Probably would have been better the first minute after the restart. Hopefully the ref doesn't get wind he made a mistake and try and even it up in the second half.
KetsbaiaIsBald
That's pretty harsh on Sunderland. They played some decent stuff, although didn't threaten that much.
Wolfcastle
They've at least a coupple soft penalties themselves lately (tumbles to ground with some contact), so cest la vie
