He’s massively underrated, people seem to think he’s only this maverick player with a Ben Arfa style touch and drop of the shoulder when in reality he has that to his game but is also just incredibly lethal and efficient with almost everything he does. He’s not lightweight either

Absolutely rotten day for Spurs like. Eze knocked them back for Arsenal in the 11th hour, he buries a hat trick past them and Simons who they went for as Plan B is absolutely dog shit.

I mean it's theoretical only but if he was on our left instead of Gordon I think we'd have been fairly lethal this season. Even if we'd signed him instead of Wissa at this stage.

 

Of course easy to say after he's just got a hat trick like. Just think Howe would work great with someone like Eze.

To be honest, I think Eze works well in any team. He’d be amazing here but the same can be said of any side. His individual quality is enough to beat multiple players and then strike the ball cleanly from distance. However, he’s also extremely good at reading play, doing deft flicks and lay offs to teammates. Would have loved him here. I said during the summer a few times that Arsenal were being stupid as fuck by not going all out for him and in the end they finally went got it sorted otherwise there’s no chance they’d be where they are this season

What impressed me in the game today was when he legged it back and defended. Never really had him down as that player, having not watched loads of him, presumptuous perhaps as I always seen him as a flair player, but he just looked outstanding today and demonstrated all the qualities I'd like to see of Gordon (and we previously have seen of Gordon). The main difference is the attitude, presently.
