Its the Everton game where Gordon missed the penalty, should have really won that. those 2 points would have give us a nice gap now. David Edgar
I expect all the teams around us have similar thoughts about games they didn't win.

WilliamPS
If Liverpool spend the week on the piss the way Man City did last season before losing the FA Cup, Chelsea will win. If they decide to enjoy the rest of their games instead they could take Chelsea to pieces - going to depend on their mentality.
Alberto2005
There's games we were fortunate to pick up points aswell. Wolves and Bournemouth away spring to mind.
Stifler
If we beat Brighton, then it sets it up for ourselves. If Villa drop points in either of their next 2 games (Fulham & Bournemouth), Liverpool beat or draw with Chelsea, then we would be in a position where beating Chelsea would guarantee us a top 5 place. There's no point in worrying about it.

t00nt00n313
Brighton is such a weird game. We have a mixed record against them at home and a horrendous record against them away. They aren't in great form ATM but then we also might be missing Jolinton. That said if we do manage to beat them and assuming Chelsea don't beat Liverpool (i.e. a draw or lose), I'll go from thinking we are slightly more likely not to get CL than we are ATM, to thinking we are slightly more likely to get cl. Under this scenario, we'd just need a draw to Chelsea and a win to everton (assuming we lose to arsenal) to secure cl. These next two games are are massive. The trophy presentation will be the start of the big piss up and Brighton / Palace games high scoring. Salah will also be wanting to finish on as many goals as possible and beating his previous high of 32 in Prem.
Hanshithispantz
Slot will want 90 points. Nowt worse than winning the league purely because the competition was shite - not sure how I would know that like.
Leemond
Really hope the crowd are up for it VS Chelsea. Sunday at noon is usually dire atmosphere, but considering how it's a huge game, people need to make our home advantage count.

TheBrownBottle
I know what qualifying for the European Cup means financially, but can't but think that we'd be straight away one of the favourites for the UEFA Cup if we drop into it, and I think we've got the makings of a real 'cup team' vibe about us - our manager now knows how to win one, and we can beat anyone on our day. And it is of course far more prestigious than the Conference League. Dunno, I really don't think finishing sixth would be anything close to a bad outcome. It wouldn’t from a footballing sense but will be from a PSR one. Getting in champions league would mean we’d almost certainly keep our stars and opens up signing more players at a higher quality, see Tonali for example.
