Ellis H
If we beat Leicester and Villa lose against Forest we’ll be 5 points clear with a very winnable game in hand. Also just noticed Villa’s goal difference is -1, which tells a story and might help us.

Forest, Spurs and us are at their place where they've lost once all season. City is tough, but Bournemouth are out of sorts and Man United are shite. Equally we still have to go to Villa, Brighton and Arsenal. Then we have Chelsea to come to our place. Palace is a potential banana skin too, I'd rather play Spurs. It's a toss up really. BennyBlanco
There should be at least 16 points there between now and the end of the season barring any massive fuck ups. Whether or not that’s enough is anyone’s guess. It’s so so tight up there atm.

Two CL games and an FA Cup semi final, squeezed in with all the other 8 league fixtures in a 7 week period after an already long season.
Sibierski
Win the home games, draw away games (expect Leicester one that has to be a win), we 100% finish top 5. It’s the home games I’m not confident in ironically, where at start of season away form was questionably bad. We just seem to have no composure at home. Geogaddi
Pointless worrying about other teams , if we win our 5 home games and beat Leicester we will finish top 5. It's in our hands . Edited April 3 by Geogaddi

This is my worry, we dont put teams away at home enough when we’re on top and particularly the teams we should be beating. We still seem to lose our heads when teams come back into it and then everything becomes pretty chaotic. That’s what happened last night before Tonali bailed us out with that cross/shot. I’m not worried about Man U so much because that will have a big game feel but Palace is a worry. If Isak stays fit I think we’ll get top 5 though. The College Dropout
Villa starting to get players back from injury and look to have a very strong squad now. They’ve got options everywhere. But they will be distracted imo. we need them to drop points against Forest and us and we should be ok. At the same time we should get 9 points from the next 3. It’s our time. 7 minimum. NSG
It’s in our own hands, which is all you can ask for with less than a quarter of the season to go.

It's our home form I'm worried about. That's a fair point. Eddie seems to have Emery's number (that 3-0 reverse aside), and Arsenal panic whenever they play us now. I'd be hoping for seven from those too. Strangely though, last night was my biggest worry with regard to home games. Palace would be the other one. We seem to turn up for games against the bigger names. Seven from those away games means we can probably afford to go 3-1-1 at home for fifth allowing for a slip up, provided it's only one. I definitely also see the home game against Crystal Palace as a bigger worry than the games against Man U and Chelsea. The crowd will also be more up for it against those two. The College Dropout
I think 68 points secures 5th. Villa would need to win 6 games and draw 2 going undefeated. Or win 7 out of 8. In addition to at least 3 massive cup games. Probably 4 all in. They have to be too good imo. We need to win 6 out of 9. So much more attainable. Even with our injuries and weaker squad. My assumption is that a CL campaign will allow us to build a squad closer to the level of Villa in terms of depth. They’ve got a proper CL level squad now too the end of the season. But still.. it’s a massive ask for them. They are relying on us, City and Chelsea being a bit shit.
