Every time I do the predictor, City are comfortably in the Top5. It’s always Villa who miss out.

Have you had a Villa win against City when doing these? City are certain for me, but I’m not sure Villa will be missing out. I think Forest and Chelsea will a lot depending on Forest today and us against Chelsea. Having said that, don’t underestimate what the late Chelsea win might do for them in a positive way going forward.

If Forest win comfortably tonight everyone will change their tune again like. It's horrible when we get into the predictor stage at the end of the season, there are always always shock results.

Nah in some ways spurs and daft Ange are the exact opposition forest match up well too.

Overconfident undercooked and daft tactics. Cho and Elanga could have a field day.

You don't need to worry about permutations. If we win three of our last five (including Chelsea), there's a very good chance we finish top five. Anything in addition to that pretty much guarantees it.

I don't understand the nah, I also reckon Forest will win.

Ah okay. Fair.

I do think Forest falling away is being seen as a bit of a given at the moment though and if they win well tonight there'll be a few adjustments on the predictors. We'll see though.

Man C need to beat Villa for our sake

Then hopefully we beat Ipswich and go 5 clear with 4 to play - think that will ease everyone’s anxiety for a bit

Yep if Villa were to beat Man City it's likely we will need to win all our home games plus one of the away ones to finish above them.

Yep - I would strongly fancy our chances should Man C win and we beat Ipswich

In effect cancels Villa’s win plus reduces the matches in order for them to overturn the deficit with Chelsea v Forest game 38 to come - if it goes to us vs Everton, I’ll take it right now

Wouldnt mind a draw in City vs Villa. Dont take it at all for granted that City will finish their season better than them.

Wolves are on a very good run with 5 wins in a row.

Fulham and Bournemouth will both probably be fighting for a spot in Europe and are very good teams at their best.

City themselves have looked far from impressive.

So them sharing 2 points instead of 3 seems good to me. Especially if Forest wins today and we maybe have to stay ahead of both.

Massive game for Forest tonight, I keep thinking the pressure might get to them, and if they lose tonight I can see them crumbling, but likewise should they win tonight, it will give them renewed confidence to kick on.

praying for a favour from Spurs but can’t count on them for anything unfortunately.

City-Villa is a win-win scenario. Someone has to lose points.

Can't agree with this like

We need a man city win. Their run in is a piece of piss and they'll get top 5 either way

Loss for villa will mean we can go back 5 points clear of them on Saturday with 4 games left

Yep , surprised at the amount of people I have seen saying otherwise but a Villa win would be a disaster. Man City are getting top 5 regardless and looking at the fixtures Villa have after tomorrow they will get 70+ points if they beat Man City .

We just need to beat Ipswich, there's not a bad scenario if we win.

Nope. A Villa win would be worst case scenario.

We need Spurs (lol) and City to do us a favour this week.

City has lost 3 games in the league since end of december. Those 3 being against Arsenal, Liverpool and Forest. In the same period they've won 9, and while they haven't looked all that convincing in just about any of those, they are winning games anyways. They don't need many chances.

Liverpool hasn't exactly looked like the galacticos, but yet they are on their way to ~90 points. Don't let the gameplay decieve you, it's the results that counts. Looking far from impressive doesn't deduct points from you.

I suppose i just have confidence in us getting the job done.

City were awful against Everton. If they play like that against Villa, Villa will beat them.

Probably the only game they have a decent chance of losing. And that one is more like a 50/50.

My dad (Villa fan) kept telling me that Man City didn't look good at all against Everton, and through the entire game I said don't worry, they will get there in the end anyways. That's just what they have been doing against these weaker sides in 2025.
