NSG
Snap your hand off for 5th still, but remarkable that 2nd is in our own hands now.
Holloway
Now there's a twist, now it's up to us to avoid being effected by any further ones.I can see us winning well tomorrow
nufc4eva
Mad to think we are so worried about teams below us where if we win tomorrow and next Sunday there's a big chance we are 2nd going into the Arsenal game. They have Liverpool next weekend at Anfield.
samptime29
Top 5 all that matters but wild if we win our last 4, we finish 2nd. Huge game tomorrow.
black_n_white
Unpopular post but I think 2nd-4th is already wrapped up, it’s 1 of 3 and that includes us.

We win comfortably tomorrow. The pressure is on Chelsea and Forest. Villa away to the Cherries next.

I just think Arsenal have enough despite the loss tonight, Man City will finish 2nd. Obviously I hope I’m completely wrong. GideonShandy
Thought you meant we're 1 of 3 contending for 5th place.

Yorkie
Which they only won because of an imaginary offside against Coventry.
STM
If ever you find yourself getting worried about Man United somehow finding themselves back at the top of English football, remind yourself that history shows that sustained success rarely finds clubs with shit owners. Yes they could spend enough to get back into CL places etc and win the odd trophy but the reality is that Ratcliffe and the glazers ego will get in the way eventually. He's already shown a willingness to asset strip, as well as hire and fire directors on a whim. It never works. It's like MA on steroids. They are being run by a dictatorship. A floppy haired, tory cunt, dictatorship at that. If Man United ever get a proper take over, then we should all worry because obviously the potential for them is astronomical but for now they have shite owners, shite players, a stadium falling apart, disjointed leadership... they might tell themselves that winning a Europa league means that they are "back" but they aren't. It's no surprise to me that their fans are trying to get behind Amorim, because he's about the only likeable, progressive thing about their club right now and even then he's relatively unproven at this level. Superior Acuña
Which is also why Chelsea are in the conference league and going to win/ruin that too.

Also learned today that the final is on Wednesday 20th, and the FA have kindly accepted Man U's request to move their PL game from Sunday to Friday 16th to avoid a clash their women playing in FA Cup. So plenty of rest for the final then. Lovely. Spurs meanwhile are being forced to play on Sunday 18th, and their request to being game forward as well was denied. So pretty much no rest for the final, and will likely write off their game on the Sunday...against Aston Villa.

I mean, they can’t really pip us. We can fail to qualify.
SteV
Not wholly convinced Spurs make it to the final tbh. Bodo getting that late goal puts things in the balance for me. Their home form in the Europa has been excellent - beat Porto, Olympiacos, Twente, Besiktas, Lazio.
