Armchair Pundit
Just makes a massive mockery of the 'Champions' League, they couldn't be further from Champions if they tried

Obviously Champions League would be best for the teams finances, but I wouldn't be crying if we only managed the Europa league as I think we'd progress further. Conference league, we'd be one of the favourites to win it. More silverware. It would be a crying shame to miss out on CL. At some point we need higher ambitions than fighting for CL. That requires qualifying for the CL numerous times. My assumption is that CL will mean we can keep who we want and invest properly. Without it I fear we need to wheel and deal without a significant net spend (90m+ type)

54
Both Forest and Man City dropping points against Leicester and Southampton respectively, is a massive bonus like.

Alberto2005
We still need 4 points potentially don't we? As Chelsea could beat us on GD?
The Butcher
We could lose the last two and still make the CL.
Shadow Puppets
1 minute ago, Alberto2005 said: We still need 4 points potentially don't we? As Chelsea could beat us on GD? no. 3 more points does it (getting us to 69 points), because only Chelsea and Villa can reach 69, and Villas goal difference is woeful. WilliamPS
Forest have win both games to finish above now, thanks to goal difference. So annoying Chelsea and Villa are playing the two clown shows on Friday, as either dropping points would make life a lot more relaxing. No chance of that though
ChrisMcQuillan
Fwiw, Opta now rates us as 95% likely for Champions League.
Superior Acuña
2 minutes ago, Alberto2005 said: We still need 4 points potentially don't we? As Chelsea could beat us on GD? No, 3 guarantees CL. If Chelsea matched us on 69 then Forest can’t get 69. And Villa can’t realistically beat our GD on 69. Scoreboard82
Given our superior GD Forest will probably need maximum pts to catch us assuming we didn't win again. That would be at the expense of Chelsea with them playing each other. Good day for us so far. Edited 17 hours ago by Scoreboard82
