MagPar
If Man City avoid a hefty points deduction then football is dead,it just screams of corruption. If they get away with a fine then we should spend as much as we want and accept any fine that comes our way.
WilliamPS
Freak results do happen, but that’s what Spurs or Man Utd taking points off Villa or Chelsea would be. Of the games I think Spurs getting a point away at Villa as the most likely as I think Spurs will play a decent side. It’s clutching at straws though. Villa may have had a historically bad record at Old Trafford but honestly I think that is the easiest fixture possible on the final day - whether they win the Europa or not. Yeah, but they had something to play for, to get more than 11 points and their better players will be motivated to get moves. Arguably, the relegated teams are more dangerous opponents than Spurs and Man U at the moment.
Ikon
First of all I don’t think it will come to that but let’s say it does hypothetically . If we struggle to go a couple of goals up against Everton quite early on when we have to win, I don’t think I would survive watching us hanging on to a say 1-0 lead where we sit deep and struggle for control and getting out of our own third. It would kill me

johnny36
I still think Man Utd & Spurs will have a say..Granted they have been terrible all season but Ange and Amorim will want to stop the rot. They wont want to be going into a major Final in negative fashion. Some of their fringe players will be wanting to impress and play in the final and also Ange and Amorim are probably fighting for their futures too Ange moreso

PRL
Virgin Bet have Villa and Chelsea double just under evens if anyone wants an emotional hedge. Whack Forest in and it’s over 3s.

If Amorim wins the Europa I can see him walking away. Clearly not enjoying himself, can say he won something and go off and join a normal club. We were absolutely smashing them up until that point, and they had nothing. Last 10 min we decided to "be smart" by passing it around the back instead, and lost the ball there couple of times only to concede big chances. Pope had to make a crazy save in the end. That game was ridiculous. 78% possession, 23 shots (3 off the post), and 12 corners. They didn't have a shot until the 93rd minute and almost won it. I do think we have a good shot at beating Arsenal though. I really hope we do. Just to remove any doubt. Edited 11 hours ago by Erikse

If the game goes like that vs Everton and we simply have average luck instead of what happened that day, we will be atleast 3-0 up by the time we reach 80 min anyways. NWMag
I know in isolation they are all winnable games for our opponents, but to expect City, Chelsea, Villa and Forest to do as well as they all can from their remaining games isn’t as much of a ‘done deal’ as it seems. I bet if you were to do an acca for 2 city wins, 2 villa wins, a win each for Chelsea and forest, and whatever you want from the Chelsea/forest game, it would be at least 15/1. how many 15/1 bets are classed as bankers? Point is that whilst it will be twitchy until the end, we will probably end up with CL even if we don’t get 3 points from here on in. We only need 3 to guarantee it, so I’m sure 2 draws would be enough.
BermyToon
Arsenal, City, Chelsea and Villa are all VERY LIKELY to get at least 69 points, so we would need one more win to guarantee top 5. If Villa drop points this Friday, then obviously we would need one point only.

I agree with this, a draw against West Ham is only useful if Chelsea and Villa fail to win at home on Friday and those games are as close to being a done deal as you can get
Elma
From Oddschecker. I still can't understand how Chelsea are shorter than Villa for top five. For that to happen then Chelsea surely have to win both of their games (without a striker), and in my opinion their games are much harder than Villa's. They both have to win two games, in neither case they’re difficult games on form. But if Villa do it they still might not qualify. Villa have also lost key players. Makes sense to me.
