England’s Anthony Gordon

A goal, fantastic. Wipes away all the muck.

Can never fault his efforts and defensive work but it is obvious he is a poor finisher and has been very sloppy for weeks

I've definitely overstepped out of frustration calling him a fraud. But the frustration is well warranted. He's been shite for weeks.

Still some cunts will start point scoring.

He draws the opposition defense wider than they want and is always a threat. End product could be better but that he does for the team is irreplaceable in my view

He does need to use his left foot more to go on the outside and also he doesn't use the overlap at all. Noticed it in the England game he rarely passes it to Hall when he overlaps

it’s weird. He is so much better when he plays with aggression but he has been so half hearted most of the season.

Tonight he was good in flashes and it was all moments where he went into 50/50s hard or actually drove at their defence with some conviction.

Not sure what's funny?

Great goal, but for a long time before that, and not just tonight he's been doing very odd things in the final 3rd

Im laughing at the irony of the comment in the moment, I got caught out saying he can’t finish right before he scored.

Chill mate I agree with you, he’s been shite recently 👍😎

He's very frustrating at the moment but that was one of his better games, his final product and decision making still needs to improve but hopefully he can build on this performance.

Well, halve. He was terrible in that first half.

Something he hopefully builds on though as you say.

Had some really poor moments today, but he kept going and didn't let his head drop, which was great to see, and he ended up with a really great goal.

Just needs to now not be moved around any more, so he can build on this and really get into a rhythm.

hope the goal gives him some confidence, aye.

Don’t necessarily agree that he needs to go on the outside more, but he definitely does need use the overlap more often because he is very predictable.
