Bellis80
You can talk about a top mentality all you want but i’ve not seen any of that on the field.

Well you have, just not so consistently recently. I think it's possible that he overthinks things like has been said before. Especially when going through a rougher spell. Then again, Cole Palmer doesn't have two braincells to rub together and his form has dipped even more. Edited May 22 by AyeDubbleYoo
Bellis80
I’ve seen him play well. I’ve seen him try harder than he is now. But mentality is about keeping doing it when things aren’t so good, not seen that.

I don't really understand, if you keep doing it when things aren't good, aren't things good?

I don't really understand, if you keep doing it when things aren't good, aren't things good? When he's not playing well his head drops and he's slower to respond, losses some of his drive. A bad touch is one thing. Giving up on a loose ball is another and a sign of a poor mentality. One thing I liked about Tiote RIP - he didn't let a bad pass or anything change his game. Fully committed game in game out. James Milner too. He was even the subject of boo boys right? From memory it didn't impact his ability to play his game the best way he could. At least in his head

Every time he loses the ball his first reaction is to drop his head or stop before he reacts and tries to get back into the game. I know some people disagree but a lot of other people have also seen it. So he’s either a lazy bastard, which the season before would suggest he isn’t, or mentally he’s not in the game. Erikse Posted Friday at 14:34 Share Posted Friday at 14:34 (edited) https://www.premierleague.com/news/4316309 Quote I am, however, considering bringing in a differential and captaining them, with Anthony Gordon (£7.4m) one player who I think can go big. Newcastle need a win, while Everton have nothing to play for. Gordon has looked lively in his last couple of games playing in a front three with little defensive responsibility. Against his old club, and with so much at stake for Newcastle, he will be as motivated as ever. Bold move.. Maybe he just want other people to cap him. Well played if so. Yorkie Posted Friday at 14:41 Share Posted Friday at 14:41 Pleased to see him back in the England squad even if I think he's a bit fortunate to be there. Hopefully it gives him a shot in the arm and he ends this mixed bag of a season in a blaze of glory against those God-awful cunts.

Theregulars Posted Saturday at 11:10 Share Posted Saturday at 11:10 I’d be disappointed if we sold him, he’s class and has so much room to develop. At worst I think you can say sometimes he’s a bit stroppy and hasn’t hit the heights of last year, but hes made a solid enough contribution despite not being quite at it. Id only get rid if it was a silly high bid and he said he wanted to go.

andycap Posted Sunday at 16:05 Share Posted Sunday at 16:05 I don't want to sell the lad but he needs to adapt at playing at right wing not just leftwing or he's in effective.

Sean Posted Sunday at 16:15 Share Posted Sunday at 16:15 (edited) All I remember from him today was another pathetic dive. His application isn't as it should be. If someone offers good (and I mean good) money snap their hands off and use it to grow. Edited Sunday at 16:15 by Sean

Aiston Posted Sunday at 17:09 Share Posted Sunday at 17:09 Shouldn't have started today, never performs vs Everton. Hope the rest does him good over the summer and we get him at his best next season.
Bimpy474 Posted Sunday at 17:10 Share Posted Sunday at 17:10 I love him, but if we were to sacrifice a player, it'll be him for me. Feels wrong to say but that's what fucking PSR has done.
