Improved slightly after he got a contract but now he's just back to half arsed . Thing is with Gordon is he's not elite at all , a big part of his game that elevates him to a high level is his pressing and running and if he can't be arsed then he's just average . Had an upturn in form after his new deal and had a good spell of 8-9 games off the top of my head. But he’s not looked like a player valued at £80m or whatever and one of our top earners. That was clear when he was at Everton, clear when he threw a tantrum at Howe away at Brentford, clear for the silly red card that kept him out of the cup final, and he doesn't appear to have grown much in the time since. Petulant sums his attitude up. Today was just pathetic. If we need to sell to be able to invest properly, then he's making himself the clear and obvious choice.
