Just now, Pilko said:

Needs to show up against his former employer next week and put that right.

Remember the time we played them and Gordon hid from everything all game long? I expect that will repeat.

He clearly has a stinking attitude mind , was awful at the start of season when he never got his move to Liverpool. Improved slightly after he got a contract but now he's just back to half arsed . Thing is with Gordon is he's not elite at all  , a big part of his game that elevates him to a high level is his pressing and running and if he can't be arsed then he's just average .

Agree. If he doesn't want to be here move him on for someone who does. If he does want to be here stop pandering and make him fucking earn it!

Back on the bench next week for me. Done nothing since getting his chance in team to stay in it. We’ve looked better with Barnes on left and Murphy on right recently. Gordon’s not been right all season and it all looks to be inside his head.

Going to seem like a knee jerk based on this shit performance. But I’ve been complaining about him most this season.

Had an upturn in form after his new deal and had a good spell of 8-9 games off the top of my head. But he’s not looked like a player valued at £80m or whatever and one of our top earners.

I find him really frustrating to watch most weeks.

Woeful. Coupled with his shit performances against Everton, he should be nowhere near starting next week. Get back to what's worked, Barnes and Tino on the left, Murphy on the right

He's still a child emotionally. That was clear when he was at Everton, clear when he threw a tantrum at Howe away at Brentford, clear for the silly red card that kept him out of the cup final, and he doesn't appear to have grown much in the time since.  Petulant sums his attitude up.

Today was just pathetic. If we need to sell to be able to invest properly, then he's making himself the clear and obvious choice. I really doubt he'd be too fussed either tbf.

That last chance at the end there sums him up. Doesn’t want to get the shot or cross off, has extra touches when he doesn’t need them. Then passes straight to an Arsenal player.
