The mackems will claim they were the first to do CG like they did with Trafalgar ignoring the fact that was at both before our cup finals in 98 and 99 and Scotland (and others) have done it before every Wembley appearance going back to the 1970s.

Gathering in a spot to have a few beers the night before the match feels totally normal for a non-London team playing at Wembley

But thousands getting absolutely mortal all day Saturday, jumping in fountains and having a massive celebration just because we’ve got a final at Wembley. I’d prefer we save those antics for the Sunday night if we’ve won the cup

  • 2 weeks later...

Stayed in Camden for a couple of nights last week. Quite a happening place with  some good boozers including a huge Spoons.

Is the Canadian Club still there, round the corner from Covent Garden? We spent a riotous few hours there before the Chelsea Semi Final in the early 00's.

Missed their first goal due to "we've got enough time to get another pint in" with half an hour to go to kick off...

Maple leaf is still there, just had a refurb but not been in for couple years TBF. Think I'll sample a few there on the Saturday

Flying to London with the missus for the weekend. So Saturday it is Covent Garden, but is it also Covent Garden on Sunday to try to ram in to a pub that shows the game? Or are there any specific places where our fans are heading to see the game? (Don't have tickets obviously)

Think people will be spread out all over watching the match tbh. There’s a few watchalong’s at various places organised by the Trust, but they’re ticketed.

I’d just ask about when you’re in and around places on Saturday.
