Dr.Spaceman Posted Friday at 09:39 Share Posted Friday at 09:39 Man City have failed to win the league once since 17/18, but let's worry about Newcastle potentially doing a Portsmouth. Why are more people not going nuclear over this?
SUPERTOON Posted Friday at 09:40 Share Posted Friday at 09:40 It’s kind of irrelevant anyways, they may be demeed unlawful in a few weeks.
SUPERTOON Posted Friday at 09:43 Share Posted Friday at 09:43 Only 4 clubs voted against it, City and Villa two of the four.

GeordieT Posted Friday at 09:49 Share Posted Friday at 09:49 (edited) Manchester City, Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest were the only clubs to vote against the proposed alterations according to the Athletic. Yeah this makes perfect sense 3 clubs outside of city with ambition to be more than these rules allow. If I have any low blood pressure I'll get myself over to reddit and read the red top fans gloat about how just these rules are. CheikBoom Posted Friday at 09:55 Share Posted Friday at 09:55 So 16 clubs voted to essentially protect the top 6 and their advantage? Wonderful. Says a lot about the other clubs as well. You’re almost protecting yourself from relegation & the need to invest. Got to keep on the gravy train.

CallumG6 Posted Friday at 10:04 Share Posted Friday at 10:04 Times like this I wish the Super League came off and those at the top fucked off for good, whilst leaving the rest of us to it. It's been said before, but the game itself has been circling the drain for years and has fallen victim (like most of society) to profits uber alice. I'm normally an optimist but struggle when it comes to football. Fuck the other 16 for playing their role in continuing the status quo, beggars belief! Sima Posted Friday at 10:05 Share Posted Friday at 10:05 Getting voted over by cuck clubs who have no place being in the top tier at all historically. Brighton, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Bournemouth. Put those teams in the north and they wouldn't be anywhere higher than the Championship playoffs. The proposed super league was to break away from Uefa. They would have continued to boss the premier league with the rules super league or not. And it doesn't beggar belief if your one of those other clubs and can't/unwilling to compete. It actually makes sense for them to take this position.
