He did, he's growing in confidence. Technique with the ball at his feet was there from day one, then it takes confidence in his surroundings to be a bit more expansive. The defensive side, cutting off channels, interceptions, bumping players off balance etc will, hopefully come with experience.

He does. Saw him in the reserves/u18’s a few times in last couple of years. He carries the ball very well, tbh at the min he’s being held back a little.

He’s got the height, he’ll continue to fill out and develop the physical side and his mental reading and decision making in the attacking sense is really mature. I think he’s actually a deep lying playmaker who needs destroyer next to him or a 10, long term.

Don't be so ridiculous, he'll never give Hall a start at left back...

Loved that he showed confidence in running with the ball against Forest, and being successful at it. All previous games he's been very quick to re-distribute the ball, which isn't a problem in itself, but good to see that he can pull off a man and create space too.

Looked really leggy today, there was one point in the second half when even Bruno out sprinted him ?

He’s the best talent we’ve had come through in ages, manage his minutes and don’t run him into the ground pls.

Really good cross for Burns disallowed goal though.

It's a big positive to cling onto from this injury crisis that this young lad is getting some massive exposure to big game scenarios and consistent minutes.

Just think when we get bodies back and we can manage his minutes, dip him out a little bit and get him to reflect, embed the learnings from this run and then "go again" in the next stage of his development.

Bit of proper training pitch time with Eddie and the coaching staff learning a little more about the defensive side of the game and consolidating & improving the things he's shown massive aptitude for and he'll be an absolute fucking monster for us.

We've got a generational talent here and in three or four years he'll be a world beater IMO provided he's managed well and has the right mentality, which right now it seems we have both boxes ticked.

Very impressed with this lad but can't get over the way he runs. When he's looking to get back to defend he just runs with those long strides but never seem to see him sprinting or bursting a gut to get back

Keep saying this, but really reminds me of a young Waddler (running/gait wise not skill set).
