The scousers will be noisy no doubt. They drowned Chelsea out the whole game last year.

How can fans treat a game where we could win a trophy for first time in nearly 60 years the same as a 2pm Sunday game... honestly the mind boggles... jack j Posted Tuesday at 13:27 Share Posted Tuesday at 13:27 If people don't get tickets in that area they might gather 2 to a seat and the stairwells like man u do. Seems to work for them atmosphere wise but not sure it would be accepted amongst our support

If they are then there is zero excuse for a lack of noise.
Heron Posted Tuesday at 21:42 Share Posted Tuesday at 21:42 I'm away with work so not really following all that's going on in the flag chats (have had over 700 messages in 2 days). The usual remarks from social media... "You can't tell us what to do" "Who are you to tell us" "Last time was mint" "Getting above themselves" "Egos" Yada yada yada. Will be folk who whinge about it all and do fuck all. Wor Flags and others are simply trying to find a positive resolution that suits most folk. So...do you want to gain an advantage in the final? It's that simple, surely...? Edited Tuesday at 21:53 by Heron

Like Bruno said, when SJP is like it is against Arsenal we can do wonderful things. Appreciate it’ll sadly never be that level every week, but if you can’t get up for a game as big as this when you should fuck off. Have a bit or pride in your football club and city. I personally just do not understand the logic of being a match going fan and not singing for your team. You can watch almost every game on TV and get multiple angles and better views and replays etc. From the comfort of your own home or a bar or whatever. Therefore you must go for atmosphere. If you go for atmosphere, how do you expect there to be one unless you help make one? That doesn't necessarily mean you have to sing for 90 mins or even at all. However, at least assist those willing to do so in faciitating it. Edited Tuesday at 21:59 by Heron

Of you go for atmosphere, how do you expect their to be one unless you help make one? Sadly I think a lot of our fans have this mindset where they believe the flag displays at the start is essentially a great atmosphere, so they’ll sit there and film it, maybe half heatedly sing along to the aids ridden Hey Jude and then remain silent thinking they’ve done their bit. The flag displays are class and should be the match that ignites an atmosphere,
HaydnNUFC Posted Tuesday at 22:04 Share Posted Tuesday at 22:04 (edited) Quite a few STH I think all have this thing of thinking they’re absolutely mint fans because they’ve had the same seat for a billion years or whatever, yet they’ve never in the time they’ve had a ST contribute positively to the atmosphere. They ‘won’t be told what to do’ when protests against Ashley were organised. Or ‘won’t be told what to do’ when they get asked to stand up at a final because they’ve never stood. TBH, I don’t know what a solution for it could be. Edited Tuesday at 22:05 by HaydnNUFC
