Wallsendmag
I see Brighton have only sold 1k tickets. Looking forward to seeing 2k home fans sat down in the safe standing area tomorrow then.

Ha - I'm up there tomorrow and the website and ticket email (although weirdly not the ticket itself) actually said/say "Safe Standing," so anyone who has bought can't plead ignorance. Might have to squeeze an extra pint in before leaving the pub so I'm fully prepared for that bullshit arising 😅
Whitley mag
Anyone up there who wants to stand should just hold their fucking ground if anyone asks them to sit down. The other night at Anfield the whole Kop was standing and a large proportion of the opposite end behind the goal next to our lot. Much of the Kop are ageing season ticket holders and they can fucking manage to stand for 90 mins and sing.

Kid Icarus
Sounds horrendous here like, hopefully a sense of injustice riles them up, because it doesn't seem like anything else will.

Wandy
A crowd that turned up merely to spectate. I'm almost glad we lost.

For that reason I decided not to bother and watch on telly instead. What a wise decision. That just looked and sounded absolutely pathetic. Had a couple of texts from mates who were there today and they've confirmed it was absolutely dead again. Starting to put me off going tbh.
Wandy
To be fair, my gut feeling is a big reason for the silence in our crowd in recent games is simply because they dont believe in this team. And who can blame them to be honest? It really doesnt bode well for Wembley because the days of NUFC fans making a racket in defiance of the odds are well and truly over. samptime29
Wasn't bad near the corner, Upper Gallowgate. Quite a few were signing around me.

Vedder
Was right next to the away fans and it was OK. Not the best but I’ve been in far worse atmospheres at SJP
NUFC91
At least those standing in returned tickets actually sang, people near me literally CBA to be there, why would you spend money to go to match if you can't seem to wait to leave...
Danh1
Would rather we reduced SJP than expand it or build a new ground. Tourists, families and miserable cunts aplenty. Shocking atmosphere yet again.

Mate similar to how I feel, drove 285 mile for the game this morning as I do for all home games since moving south 12 years back...all the away games watching us get beat to be back the following week to do it all again yet today I see people who walk out as soon as Welbeck scores knowing we in a final 2 weeks today. Would it of hurt them to stay to end and give them some support knowing next time majority of fans will see them is in a cup final...
Chicken Dancer
Potentially recency bias but Jesus, that was by far the worst I can remember. Timid atmosphere to match a timid display.
