Think I’m completely done with it now decided to not even bother going down for the cup final, will miss the craic on the Saturday but not going to put myself through the pain on Sunday, can take getting beat but I’m done with modern football and I’ll spend a fortune just to come away depressed as fuck with the whole experience.

Praise be to the mighty season ticket holders and their mates.

What a pile of hilarious, steaming bollocks, you fucking cretin.

Well I helped most the posters on here complaining about the atmosphere with tickets

So… would you care to retract that last comment?

I was a benefactor of this kind of thing for years mate, LFEE would be on speed dial for me if I’d known him and he’s absolutely right that it was a help atmosphere wise.
Haven't been for an age now but would have gladly taken a last minute ticket for Burnley (no disrespect to Burnley) away and struggle speaking till Tuesday back then, can’t get a sniff now, stopped trying to be honest.

I'm absolutely dreading the Cup final. It's one of those things when you know exactly what's going to happen beforehand. Humbled on and off the pitch.

99% of those who sat in silence yesterday will be at Wembley in a couple of weeks. It's going to be awful.

The prospect of watching our lot sit in stoney silence whilst those rats sing their dreary hymns to the backdrop of a two or three goal canter is the main reason why I'm probably going to give the whole thing a miss and just go for a long walk somewhere.

so you're only interested when we have a decent chance of winning?

Bore off with your "shite support" bait. After 40 years of crushing let-downs I'm not prepared to witness another one. Quite frankly I'm bored of it. A lot of it is probably down to who the oppostion is too, as I absolutely despise them. If we were playing City or Villa I don't think I'd feel the same way.

I totally get the anguish regarding modern football. The disdain for fans, VAR, PSR, etc. Stick it in the bin.

There has been some interesting comments on here since the Brighton loss though. Wishing for the end of the season, not wanting to watch the cup final, hating on the players, etc.

I want to win a trophy and be the most successful version of ourselves as much as the next man and although out current form isn't pretty, this season is far from a write off.  It's no wonder SJP can't get up for it when pockets of our fanbase are only arsed about what comes next.

Liverpool are rightfully short favourites and if they win it'll be shit. What would be worse though is if we win our first trophy in forever and you missed it for no good reason.

Ashley’s not the owner anymore though.

LFEE is a great man who has helped me get tickets several times. Canny footballer aswell.

Would confidently bet that he’s sorted hundreds of people tickets over the years. Some boy.

Agree but each to their own.

Expectations seem to have risen disproportionally to the actual circumstances.

cant remember the word i'm looking for but it'll come.

I’d say not wanting to watch another Wembley no-show, the sixth in a row, is a pretty good reason to miss it to be honest. Once again, events are conspiring against us for a trophy win. But the long term prospects for the club remain positive, so long as the current ownership don’t renege on their commitment and deliver what they have promised in terms of infrastructure.

Aye, losing to that lot would be incredibly painful, so I get why people may feel that way.

It crossed my mind initially, but I'd feel much worse if I sat it out and missed us lift our first trophy in my lifetime.

Plus this in an incredibly committed group of players and staff who deserve our support when they'll need it most.

There’s definitely a bit of reverse psychology going on in my head though. I mean I’d happily miss out on the experience of watching it if that’s the price to be paid for us winning it.
