Looks like BDB has receded massively over the summer too...

Worst combover since Charlton, R. Formerly of this parish.

If true then it's needlessly punitive.

It also seems unviable.

By definition, if it’s behind closed doors, how is anyone going to know if he’s played?

It says in the pre-season thread that although it was behind closed doors it still has to be registered with each clubs respective FAs so they can't do it on the sly.

Kid I used to work with had a family holiday once and his laddie was clarting about at the pool. Getting on everyone's tits. At some point the bairn took his inflatable arm bands off and put them on his ankles. Tells his Dad he's going to jump in.

He just shrugged his shoulders and said "crack on son but you'll regret it"

Cue, an upside down boy that Dad had to jump in and rescue 😂

All of us lot from graft went to a colleagues gaff in Otterburn for a BBQ. Families etc etc, all camped out on his field.

Same pool Dad and same bairn involved.

Laddie being a pest so Dad throws a 20p coin into the beer tub full of ice, water and bottles.

Kid fishes it out but it took a while. So his Dad starts throwing more coins in. One by one.

By the end the bairn had a few quid but his entire arm was blue

Still find it absolutely ridiculous that the ban carries on for three games into the new season. Benefits absolutely nobody!

Its not meant to benefit anyone (apart from promote following the rule) it's a punishment. Could argue should be tied to the season but then how far though the season do you allow in leeway? Its a years ban essentially makes sense.

I mean i do get annoyed seeing shorter bans on racism etc, but there is huge amount of money around in the criminal underworld around betting so i do understand why football is so hardline on integrity, even if there's no suggestion tonali was actually fixing games.
