He has, but you can’t value someone on pre season. Look at Anderson last summer.

Maybe all the best players are already in England. Chelsea have bought up most of them tbf.

We’re supposedly muscling in on Gallagher’s move to Atlético, which has seemingly run into trouble regarding some image-rights clause. We’ll see.

I don’t want him. He’s good but limited in some regards. Wouldn’t mind a CM though, even though I can’t see it this window.

Fair, but but when he’s massively outperforming players like Mudryk who they paid 80m+ for, you can understand why their valuations are a bit wacky.

They’d probably ask for 45-50 million or something daft. For that money you’d have to be better than most of the current options. Bruno, Joelinton, Tonali and a fit Willock (I know, I know) are better imo. Gallagher is a more effective Longstaff in my view (even though Longstaff scored more last year).

Eddie did say opportunist signings could  be made if certain players became available, not necessarily position need driven.
