NUFC Transfer Rumours

Recommended Posts

William Gomes has received an offer from Newcastle in England, as reported by his partner

@mabragatchelo

! The English club has not yet presented an offer, but has already spoken with William's staff, who recently renewed his contract with São Paulo. Tricolor will need to sell players this season to meet its budget target and a deal, obviously depending on the offer, could happen.

Talk of us looking at Kolo Muani if someone comes in for Isak. PSG apparently looking for around £45 million.

Asensio has been playing as a false 9 for them upfront and has made that position his own as he's more suited to Enrique's tactics.

I’d take him at that price even if we don’t sell Isak, wishful thinking with our finances I know.

Yeah, would be contingent on Isak leaving.

I'm assuming he'd be on mega money at PSG therefore out of reach even at £45m

Seems to be on around £200,000 a week.

Our upper limit at the moment is around £180,000 I think, and so I think it's probably doable with some bonuses etc.

Out of boredom..What would everyone’s dream January signing(s) be?

Mine would be Lee Kang-In. I think he would be an absolutely smashing top quality signing. Would offer us great versatility and something really different that we don’t have. Playmaking from the right hand side going more central with Tino providing width. Love the idea of him as an attacking midfielder in front of  Bruno and Tonali when/if we want a different system at times.

Im not sure how much PSG see him as a key player or not. Not seen that much of him this season but I read that he has started about half of their games. There were rumours that they wanted up to 70m euros for him but I doubt they’d ask for that much really. He has all the attributes and is still only 23 and I reckon he might grow quite a lot if he was to become a key/star player for someone else. I could very easily be shot down here right away IF he’s seen as key for their future plans (which I don’t know).

He would pull defenders out of their shape and I reckon it would make the world of good for Isak and others as well.

I obviously would love a quality CB but I’d rather have a top quality attacking player if I had to choose one. Maybe we could find a CB on loan depending on Botmans and his comeback. I assume he won’t be match fit until around February.

Guler loan to buy and Jonathan David. Ederson and a CB (not Guehi) to make it more unrealistic.

Gyokores and play both him and Isak. Obviously not gonna happen. I'd love a player like Robert, but who could do the ugly side of the game. Also like that Baleba at Brighton

Guler on loan with option to buy dream signing. A window is opening to sign him, and some club going to be lucky.

Defence we can get through this season by just shoring things up, and adding genuine quality that pushes teams back in fear will help too (and ball retention higher up the pitch).

I mean if we can somehow grab Guler AND Mbeumo that would be insane

There’s an opportunity there also to mitigate the loss of Wilson if we can secure a Bosman CF (J David or even someone like a DCL (with the comfort that we have Mbeumo and Osula to cover as well)

(a bit over ambitious I know)

Think it’s near nailed on we’ll sign DCL on a free. Which I wouldn’t be against as it’s an experienced body who at this stage of his career, will be happy in the support role, especially for a club that will be in Europe and challenging for trophies you assume over the 3 years his contract would be.

Despite the obvious Callum Wilson comparisons, if we could pick up him and/or Jonathan David depending on whether Isak is our purple sacrificed, it leaves us with good options to freshen up some of the other positions.

I’m not so sure with Mitchell here now.
