Have only just seen that Mbuemo is 25. We should spend our whole pot and mortgage our ground to get him imo

I'm sure you've seen it mentioned before but the fact he's bald, people believe has a huge impact on how fans/media view him. Thinking he's 28/29 for one thing changed how you saw him as a potential transfer and I think alot of fans would think the same.

Weird thought processes in some people.

Very weird, very superficial, but quite frequently (sadly) very true !!!

Is Dibling that good? Had a look at his FBRef stats and they're pretty poor, though probably massively affected by being in a struggling team.

Did a quick Dennis Wise scout and he looks pretty fast, dribbly and two-footed, but a lot of the clips were youth/reserve football and was largely just him being faster in a straight line than others in his age group.

Is he actually a top prospect or is he get getting overhyped cause he's a winger whose name sounds like 'dribbling'?

He doesn’t need to be in the ‘shop window’, especially not in a team getting howked every week.

Any MLS or South American teams know who he is already.

Aye, not playing is really getting the offers in.

As expensive as he’d be, Mbuemo would pay for himself over time. He personally could be the difference between Champions League and Europa League this year. Dibling would be a wait and see for a presumably not too dissimilar fee.

Mbuemo does not look 25, hair or no. Full beard and seems to have been around for years as well.

25yr old Mbuemo for 50m, yes please.

I think finances are such that to get Mbuemo in you would have to sell one of your big hitters therefore weakening 1 area to increase another.

Got to hope Mitchell finds a player out there capable of becoming Mbuemo before the 50/60m+ price tag.

Dibling looks kinda like a left footed Anthony Gordon in his highlights, though they mostly consist of reserve matches. Anyone would struggle to look good in this Southampton team. They might be the worst of all time.

Or we somehow persuade Brentford to take the £50m in the summer instead and a loan until then. Would solve our FFP issues and Brentford are so well

run it probably doesn’t make too much difference whether they receive the money in this PSR window or the next.

The time to buy Mbuemo was a year or two ago.

This is the whole point of bringing in Mitchell and building around him. He's supposed to find these players before they cost huge money.

Have to back him to do so.

Like Guehi, the time to sign Mbuemo isn't now. His stock feels really high right now and he's in great form. The summer would have been more realistic.

Regards Dibling, I remember being impressed by him early in the season, but now that we have been linked I feel like everytime I've seen him he's been poor and his shooting in particular feels very erratic.

Over £75m for Brian Mbuemo seems a bit much like

That's what others are saying about Isak being valued £150m+

He's worth what he's worth to them and I think if I was them and clubs came calling in January when it's hard to replace and he's their best most important player I would be demanding atleast that aswell.

This is how Arsenal fans sound when they're thirsting after Isak.

He guarantees double digit goals and is heading into his prime years. He's got two and a half years left on his deal, I'd wager he'll end up going to a club like Liverpool for circa £70 million to £80 million.

I’m more concerned about our GK position if Dubz is off this week and we haven’t really any update on Nick’s return.

I’d imagine they won’t let him go unless Pope was back. Howe did say pre spurs he was making good progress.

Difference is I'm sure they can afford that.

Why?

Because he’s a known entity. He’s played in the PL and internationally for years.

If an interested club have a value of him now, that won’t increase because he plays a few games for Southampton.
