Dr.Spaceman Posted Tuesday at 10:04 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:04 If he chooses to sign for Chelsea after all this then he clearly wasn't worth the hassle to begin with and he deserves everything he gets from that absolute shit show.

It’s almost the same thing though. It’s just it’s not intentional. Being mentally strong is about having the right attitude. But again not in this binary ‘good attitude’ ‘bad attitude’ way. It takes a certain attitude to be resilient, to try and forget past mistakes or a certain situation out your head. But it’s not bad attitude in a HBA way. If that's his reasoning, he'll have terrible advisors. I doubt Delap would be their star striker summer signing, especially with the Champions League this season. He'd be a backup there too. But London life, a young team, playing for Chelsea, and a good contract... I bet he'd pick them over us. Honestly, most of us would in that situation. He'll be confident of starting more regularly there as they have no one near Isak's level. Also has the Man City familiarity with Maresca and Palmer too. Understandable decision. Going to Man Utd would have been the really bad decision.

The College Dropout Posted Tuesday at 10:40 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:40 Mbeumo isn’t usually so clinical. He’s usually a Big Chance monster who misses a fair few. Changed this season entirely. From what I’ve seen if Cunha that’s his style. A bit like prime Son he’s an excellent finisher from what most regard as tough angles.

Can understand him going to either Man U or Chelsea tbh, they both really need a top class striker more than we do. But will they really sign Delap and pin their hopes on him being that striker? Chelsea I think would definitely look to sign a senior striker, maybe Man U under their skinflint owner would be more prepared to take a punt on Delap starting every game as first choice.
