Sibierski Posted yesterday at 08:04 Share Posted yesterday at 08:04 Not panicked, new owners, but Everton still need to generate money. They'll need a good sale to enable them to spend well, especially the amount of bodies they need to replace. Moyes has done an exceptional job since joining, but they're so close to have a fucked side. Alcarez will be one of their crown jewells moving forward, getting him for £12m will be a superb deal long term.

It's not much of a punt he has grown to be an excellent centre forward for Palace so I imagine he would cost an absolute bomb but don't know if time left on contract etc. I also wonder if he'd want to come to play second fiddle. I think we're more likely to sign someone up and coming again with a bit more risk attached. Mateta would be great but doubt it I’m not sure about second fiddle, well probably need to rotate as fatigue will come into it with league, cups, europe etc, go on splash the cash. Tiresias Posted yesterday at 08:41 Share Posted yesterday at 08:41 (edited) Yes will be plenty of chances get that, but we know who is going to be picked for the big games fitness allowing and that will matter...I do think we should have two high quality strikers though, I just think Mateta if he is wanting to leave (and I'm not sure he will, Palace seem to be on the up, have Europe now thanks to fa cup, although they are cursed to finishing 12th all the time), I imagine a club pitching him to be their main number 9 is going to attract. Who are we kidding Chelsea will sign him along with Delap and 3 more just for the lols. Edited yesterday at 08:42 by Tiresias

ponsaelius Posted yesterday at 09:17 Share Posted yesterday at 09:17 Branthwaite is definitely both footed mind. Think he's been wrongly profiled as a lefty only.

Optimistic Nut Posted yesterday at 11:24 Share Posted yesterday at 11:24 3 hours ago, TRon said: Agree. This is the downside of having a striker like Isak. Not many aspiring strikers would want to come here to sit on the bench behind him. You're probably looking down the Spurs/Kane route of buying experienced strikers towards the end of their career for a season or two like Llorente and loans like Vinicius. Wouldn't really have a problem with that, either.

Turnbull2000 Posted yesterday at 11:29 Share Posted yesterday at 11:29 At least the answer is in the headline. The Chronicle would be like 'Newcastle Isak transfer truth emerges' or 'Newcastle's incredible transfer plans speaks volumes', with the article the sprinkled with typos. Unfortunately enough people must click on that shite.

Potential signings are Quansah, Garcia or Trafford, Rudoni and Ramsey. Totally goes against the (Edwards/Hope?) article that said we’re ready to move for Guehi and Mbuemo from not two days ago. They haven’t a clue.
Crimson Cardigan Posted yesterday at 11:32 Share Posted yesterday at 11:32 The Hardy article is very downbeat. SUPERTOON Posted yesterday at 11:32 Share Posted yesterday at 11:32 Quansah is available for 30 million apparently. I can see us going for him for that price tbh. I’d personally go for someone else.

I'm sure our targets extend beyond those which id expect of Sunderland.
