 I can kinda see where they're coming from. If he manages to have a solid, injury-free season, they could suddenly find themselves fielding offers from several top clubs. Why sell now at a discount?

We will need to pay close to what that value would be. £60m odd. Pretty much what we did with Tino.

Wouldn’t take what EH says on transfers at face value. Even if you did he never said we WOULD sign someone in June. Opportunities might arise in the last couple of days of June nothing more. He said he’d IDEALLY like a couple in in time for 7th July.

 

Long way to go for both in transfer window terms.

He said we’d be trying to sign players in early June. He very clearly wants players in early and July isn’t early when the window has been open for a month by then.

I think that's an iffy translation, reads like we've went in at 40/50m but their valuation far exceeds that.

If we are interested in Scalvini and potentially Diomande, it seems highly unlikely that we wouldn't still retain an interest in Tapsoba.

 

Add Guehi in there and im more than happy with the standard they are looking at.

He never said that once. He said along the lines of we were vulnerable last year and clubs took advantage (Brighton, Forest). We are not vulnerable this year and might be in a position to do that to other clubs but wasn’t sure.

 

If you make things up and get disappointed you only have yourself to blame.

If you look closely there are no quotation marks in the article you’ve copied and paste which I’m sure you know what that means in a journalistic sense? 

 

Post the link please to examine further but even what you’ve posted confirms exactly what i said. “It doesn’t always work out like that” is the takeaway you need.
