Like for Neave, we now have Osula back. We have 2 players per position in most positions. Of course we as fans can say "if X player gets injured we are weak", but I just don't know if the club can actually operate like that in reality. As others have said, a couple of fresh bodies in the door to just give the squad a boost should be imperative. Not sure who like but we have an extensive scouting setup for that. We do don't we? Think it’s hard this window personally, for me we need players to come in and be better than whoever they replace in the starting 11. We filled the squad out in the summer and haven’t really seen any benefits from it yet. For me our struggles stem from not improving the starting 11 for a couple of years. Apart from Thiaw the players we bought in the summer now feel like panic buys. I know Howe was keen on Elanga for a while like. I don't think they were exactly what we needed but we had to get players in. Like Woltemade. kingxlnc Posted January 28 Share Posted January 28 Other than Semenyo, Guehi and perhaps Gallagher, I've not seen one player go anywhere this January where I think oh they'll be a great addition and improve the XI. Abraham and Luiz at Villa are ok - would be more filler. Not seen any other big signings - football with PSR really has become so much more boring.
