Billy Gilmour is training with the Chelsea reserves, he must be available for decent price and would be unreal for depth.

Shameless self plug.

I dunno, Billy Gilmour sounds like the kind of person I'd expect to be running a gambling racket in the 1930s. Might be best to stay clear.

Well he’s got 8 full caps. Compare to Botman. Sounds good enough to me.

Mine was more a commentary on how bad the level of defending is in the league rather than a critique of the players ability. He might be a superstar. The Eredivisie isn't classed as a top league.

It’s still a league that produces good players - yes the level may not be the highest but you can still get some good players from

the likes of the big 3 - Alkmaar, Utrecht etc

I may be biased but I think Gilmour is a good player.

I don't think he has a particularly high ceiling but theres definitely a player there.

Don't get me wrong, he's a good player but I'd be surprised if we're prepared to pay Brit/Brighton tax on his level of player.

This. Brighton are so good at negotiating the most for their players. Caicedo being the prime example.

My mate worked with his grandad offshore when he was still at school. Told him to put money on him signing for Chelsea and playing at a major tournament with Scotland etc when he was 15. Few months later he was gone

Tbf, they’ve been made to look good by the fact they’ve frequently been negotiating with an idiot like Bohely.

Suppose it did seem like they got a brilliant price for Ben White, but Arsenal will probably think they’ve actually done alright out of it now.

So are you saying he’s due a retrospective gambling ban?

Cos we’ve had quite enough of them…

Fair enough, there’ll still be diamonds in the gravel though.

This post needed that football card photo of a young David Moyes, for accuracy.

Jonathan David vs Villa.

Koopmeiners and Ederson vs Liverpool.

Some players of interest to watch tonight against Prem opposition.

Leverkusen vs West Ham should be very interesting too.

Fantastic matches on today.

Wirtz to toy with them. God I wish he was a realistic signing for us.

He is really IMO. If we wanted to go big on a star signing like him, we can pay the wages. Just would need to come with some creative accounting.

But he’s one of those players, where a club would’ve already done the ground work, and as soon as that club gets whiff of someone else making a move who Leverkusen are willing to sell for that price, they will make the move.

I’d imagine the Ederson interest is over with the Joelinton news.
