Lordshola
What a load of bs. These “player swap” deals never eventuate and they don’t make any sense.

Would be tempted by Ramos, Muani, Kang In Lee and £50 million. If we do have to lose Isak I just pray to God it will be abroad. The way Arsenal and now Liverpool fans are so certain they are going to get him if we don't get Europe is really impossibly annoying.

Ben
I'd take less money if it means he goes abroad, Arsenal are out of the picture but I'd hate to see him in a Liverpool shirt.

Colos Short and Curlies
Still maintain no English club can afford Isak this summer. £160m transfer fee (minimum) plus 10-20% signing on fee plus around £20m in wages.

KennyUtd
If he scores the goals that win us a cup I'd thank him for his brilliance and take £100 million for him. JUST NOT TO FKN ARSENAL...PLEASE. He's destined to play for a European giant, no question.

Caicedo wanted out of Brighton, they held on and got what they wanted. Rice wanted out of West Ham, they held out and got what they wanted. Kane wanted a move to Man City, Tottenham didn't sell because City didn't offer enough. Even Gordon throwing out his toys at Everton still ended with us paying what Everton wanted (I think). Unless the cards are in the players hands because their contract is low, I really don't think having a sulk will affect the fee a club demands. Miami, Ramos and Lee Kangin actually does resolve a lot of our issues. Up front and at RW. If we got £50m too it also neutralises the 63m we paid. We could flesh out the squad at RcB, GK, CM etc. would hate to see him leave and he would destroy the French league but it does logically improve us overall. Nothing to do with a loser mentality, it's football. 🤦♂️

That’s why they are given contracts. The seeming modern acceptance that a player can do what he wants has massively crept in to the football fans psyche. As if they’ve almost been brainwashed constantly for years from pundits all associated with the “big 6” or journalists turned broadcasters due to paper sales dying and the public profile of players agents and other grifters rising. Funny that… Edited March 4 by LFEE
Menace
Thats an insane deal to be fair. If we managed to get 30-40M on top of that deal I'd do it.
JT24
If it was to happen, I’d rather take the cold hard cash and let the recruitment team decide on who they want to replace him.

Funny that… I get all that but we just wouldn't make him see out a contract if he hinted at all that we weren't meeting his ambitions. I'm not saying he has but he knows is own worth and talent. He'll want to win trophies, play Champions league regularly and we're nowhere near offering him that. Wouldn't blame Isak at all. It's a short career.
