NUFC Transfer Rumours

Listen Paul, it's not that hard, here's how it goes:

GK - New no.1, that much is obvious. Keep Pope or Dubs as no.2, preferably Pope unless we can get a fee for him in which case Dubs is fine. For 3rd choice keeper, try to find a young up and coming English keeper. I know we have Ruddy & Gillespie for the quota thing but they're never going to play so it's a waste of a squad place, go get a keeper who can make something of himself here. Nearly forgot about Vlach. He's a bum. Get him to fuck.

LB - Tino, Trips and Burn can cover in Halls absence. Ideally I'd want another real LB but we have more pressing issues this summer. Punt Targett. Jamal Lewis is a fantastic prospect who deserves another chance, start him most weeks.

RB - Least of our concerns, providing Trippiers form doesn't fall off a cliff next season. Loan out Ashby or sell him to anyone willing to give us something close to what we paid for him. Krafth is still servicable in an emergency.

CB - A purple RCB is priority, pace and youth is a must. Schar is ideal back up for RCB. Botman and Burn are sufficient for LCB. I wouldn't be against taking a chance on a young CB to bring through the ranks with a view of replacing Burn & Schar in the near term. Give Lascelles a painting of a Spitfire and a bouquet of roses and let him ride off into the Championship to see out his days in the lower leagues.

CM - Longstaff needs moved on to whoever will take them. He's played his role but the fact of the matter is we have outgrown him and there's reasonable chance of fetching some decent money for him. Willock can go too if the right offer comes in, otherwise he's fine as a rotational piece. We need another 2 CMs (3 if Willock goes), one of them to be in the mould of Joelinton or to at least share his minutes is a must IMO, without Joelinton we lack physicallity and aggression, we need a wrecking ball to set the tone. Get the idea of selling Joelinton into the sea. Bruno, Tonali are unsellable, I wouldn't entertain selling Miley either unless someone offers a kings ransom.

RW - Purple is a must. No projects, no fucking around, get us guranteed quality. Murphy is perfectly fine as back up. Get Shola to send Kuol to Partick Thistle or something like that.

LW - We good.

ST - Watching Wilson now is tragic, send him to the glue factory, he is absoluely finished. Bring in a good striker who is happy to play 2nd fiddle most of the time but will also get his fair share of starts, a Chris Wood type player essentially. Use Osula as a swiss army knife and play him accross the front 3. Sell Isak and we riot.

To summarise:

Needs in order of priority: RW(purple)>CB(purple)>GK(purple)>CM>ST>CM(project)>CB(project)

Spend whatevers left in the piggy bank on youth prospect/PSR flips.

I make it sound so simple don't I?

You want Vlach to fuck who's bum ?

You reckon Brentford will be happy with their captain telling the world which of their players are likely to leave?

Getting Lee Kang-In for around £20 million at age 24 would be outrageous really.

PSG are very reasonable with the fees they ask for once someone is ready to leave due to a lack of opportunities, and mostly look to just get their money back.

These kinds of deals are out there, and are the sort of deals the club has to be all over.

They got him for €15million didn’t they?

Does anyone know anything about Napoli CB Buorngiono?(spelling)

No link other than he's the same agent as Tonali and Tonalis agent owes us one.

Really good player. Another one we were linked to before he joined Napoli. Would cost an absolute fortune now

I don’t think they’ll care tbh. Frank constantly did with Toney.

Nah probably not, but probably £45m. The time to get him was last year, as always 😂

Obviously this is me just wildly speculating but it's these sorts of players I expect us to be looking at.

I'm not for a second saying he fits what we specifically want but it's more the age/experience/price range etc. I also am a big believer in looking at agents. I'm sure 5 of our signings have came from the same agent in England... including our manager for example.

He’d be a great fit for us tbh, I really like the look of him. But I want to sign these players a year earlier, when we’re actually linked with them. Saves £10m at least.

Yeah i hear ya. I think we will be looking in the 40- lower 50 bracket.

21-26, experience for their age etc, internationals, at clubs who are vulnerable to us.

We should look at Comuzzo at Fiorentino before Brighton or Bournemouth take the risk.

I would prefer Bryan

Not even a discussion imo. £ dependant I suppose

Meh. He’s tidy, clever and good in tight spaces but I’m not really sure he’s got the physicality or speed to work as a top winger in the prem.

Lot of player for 25m though. Would be a decent bit of business and saves some money for other positions.

Do we have £60m to spend on one player? Would mean no CM.

He's done reasonably well in France, which is physically quite similar to ours because he's techincally at the very highest level.

He's a great age, great price and is tried and tested in a team that dominates possession and territory.

I'm not sure I'd choose Mbuemo over someone like B. Silva, which is the profile I'd say is most similar to Lee Kang-In, if others say they would, then fair play.

Why we not in for De Bruyne, still think he’s an upgrade on Willock and Longstaff for a season.

A gazillion pounds per week?
