Never turning a profit on Pope and we don't need to. Can't measure a successful signing on profit alone. His contributions over the years towards money for league positions and CL qualification likely exceed £5m anyway.

It would require one of Botman, Thiaw, or Burn to leave. Botman only just signed a new deal, Thiaw had a very strong first season, and Burn is finishing his career here most likely.

After reading some dispatches and seeing the players we're after, it looks like Eddie is going back to the well for another heavy metal, high press, group of players. 

Ryan Fraser was a very good player on his days especially for Bournemouth. Shame he was a wee dick

He’s 34, 1 year left on contract and declining rapidly. He’s not worth much more than £5m
