Arrogance of the bindipping cunts.

God, I can't wait for the summer.

These people really think Mike Ashley is still in charge.

Honestly, I’d throw myself out of a window if I had to spend any time with him in a confined space but that video is beautiful

Unlikely, as I'm pretty sure he died a while back.

Can't understand him with that thick Scouse accent.

I'm convinced that the worst Liverpool fans are sad-sack glory-seeking wankers like the home counties twat in the video.

Couldn’t even sign Gordon from us 7 months ago when we were scraping about from behind the sofa for spare PSR change.

I often think Mike Ashley has done a lot of damage to our fanbase, but it seems that pundits, journalists and fans of other clubs don't realise that we're not his club anymore either.

If it's not Bruno to City, it's Tino to City, Hall to Liverpool, Tonali to Barca, Gordon to Liverpool, Isak to anyone or Howe to England.

We're no longer in the business of needing to or wanting to sell our best players or allowing our staff to leave, so you either offer us a ludicrous sum of money that we can't possibly refuse, or fuck off.

That's not to say that we won't lose players on our journey, all clubs do. But we're no longer in the business of happily selling to clubs that we now see as our rivals.

If they really wanted him, they could have had him when we signed him. Now its too late.

I also fully expect us to be quoted huge numbers for Huijsen and we can't complain as we slept on him when Bournemouth signed him.

Huijsen has a 55m release clause.

It’s a major reason I want us to get into the CL, keep our players and sign a couple major players.

It shifts the narrative. ATM there’s still a media view of ‘Newcastle can’t spend because of PSR.  If they are to get to the top, Eddie, Isak and co. will have moved on as part of the journey.’

Qualify for the CL. We keep our boys. Spend £200m on quality. We become a serious serious outfit.

I have no idea if we could do that. But assuming we play 10 CL games minimum, I think that nets £50m in income from TV, prize money and gates alone. Pushes our FFP up. 2 CL campaigns in 3 years and a Cup win. Sela is half the money Spurs get from AIA and less than the rest of the top 6.  Why can’t we get deals at the same rate as Spurs? Or 90%?

Our recent windows and last seasons performance have had the pundits comfortable again. Especially Carragher and Neville.  Cup win, CL and some big signings will put the fear of God into them.

We could win the title and Liverpool and Arsenal would still be snapping their fingers at us expecting our best players on a silver platter. Delusional doesn't even begin to describe it.

Those teams’ fans licking their lips at the idea that we have to sell to them for PSR reasons is particularly galling. It’s a disgrace that more fuss isn’t made about how anticompetitive this is.

Agree with all this. 2 CL campaigns and 1 trophy in 3 years makes us clearly the 4 best performing team in the league over a 3 year period

Probably even 3rd best if Arsenal don't win the CL this year, they are in desperate need of silverware

Deffo should be a means to review our sponsorship income

I think commercial viability is a bit more complex than what we've said. But the main shirt sponsor seems to be half what the lowest in the top 6 get and 20% above the one below us. I think we should be able to justify a bumper increase.

Major 10 games ahead.

Our Adidas deal is much closer to the top 6 though.
