Surely that’s entirely dependent on the price though?

 

If we were to sell him for considerably more than his market value, I’d say that does make us good sellers.

 

Take your point that you can’t really be selling loads of your best players at the same time, or you’re asking for trouble, but assuming no-one else of note left, I don’t think it’s worthy of criticism if they should Hall as well, should a genuinely OTT offer come in.

That's not the only factor though, it depends on how good our team will be, now and in the future. 

 

You could probably make a profit on nearly every good player in the squad, but I wouldn't sell them all in one summer.

Nobody is giving us cant turn it down money for him though, not imo at least.

Completely agree, it’s more a hypothetical point really. 
 

The only way I’d be comfortable with selling him atm would be if that OTT offer were to come in, and as you say, that seems very unlikely.

 

Unless of course he were to decide to activate dickhead mode, like certain other people, which, sadly, would make things more problematic.

Not that I want this to happen, but the only scenario I’d accept is if the club received a genuinely outrageous bid, something simply too good to turn down ,while Tino stays fit, stays at the club, and plays at left-back, which I still think is his best position. Then use the money to bring in a top-quality right-back.

That comes down too being good buyers not good sellers, we sell him for £200 say and replace with crap we were still good sellers.

I know the phrase ‘no smoke without fire’ but I’m not even sure there’s any smoke on this one, is there?

Couple of forum members have heard he's on the move fwiw. Certainly nothing official and obviously Ben Jacobs is to be disregarded, cant stand that cunt.

A page or 2 back someone claim that Halls mam got pissed up on cheap Croatian cocktails and, after doing a saucy strip tease on a table, announced that her son was off to Man Utd and if anyone wanted a 'happy ending to the night' to see her in the alley behind the hotel

I may have used a bit of artistic licence in retelling the story, but my version is just as believable

I doubt we want to sell tbh. But he might want to leave, then I would imagine that we would put a big price tag on him in order to convey his value to us. 

 

I don't think we would keep an unhappy player. If he's happy here then we won't sell anyway IMO.
