Feels a bit harsh blaming Dubs, aye he got megged but Elanga has so much space that it's one of those where if the keeper saves it, it's a bad finish. He has to come out as Burn is never recovering.

Yeah, the pass is as good as it can be though?

You could say that, all he's done is play it in behind. It's still a fuck up from us that's he's gone on to score, whether that's Burn being too slow or Dubs coming out to early.

it’s absolutely no coincidence that our defence has gone to shit since Pope’s injury, like. Pope comes and gets that every time. The keeper sweeping is so key to how we defend and Dubs is just never there.

It’s also one of those where if he stayed on his line / 6 yard and he scores people would scream why didn’t he come out for it etc. he was stuck either way

Most managers would have adjusted to a different keeper style.

Since game one this season the midfield has been bypassed too ease, and cut backs are always on (like the MGW chance early on) and Howe has not changed it at all. Press doesn’t work, we’re exposed so badly.

Worked last season, but clearly not working this season to same levels as teams are more clued up.
