27.5 million is well beyond 20 million.

It says 3m + 0.8m additional fees for loan, 14.5m + 2.7m in additional fees for the purchase, and 6.5m add-ons. That is in total 27.5m euros.

Obviously I'm not sure what they mean by additional fees, but exclude that it's 24m euros still.

I read it as the 3 + 0.8 being included in the 14.5 + 2.7. If the 6.5 add-on is achieved it would put the total at 23.7 which is well beyond 20m. Why not write "well beyond 25m" if the total was 27.5...?

Either way it's a great deal for us.

Because the reported deal was 20, so they're saying its well beyond the reported 20.

But his performance against West Ham may cost us UCL and he'll then have cost us more...

I mean it hasnt worked out for him here but It’s a hell of a reach to suggest Lloyd Kelly single handedly lost us a game where the scoreline was 2 nil to the opposition.

is his goal saving block against Chelsea the reason we won the Carabao cup?

They're basically paying £5 million a year for him over three years for the bulk of the fee.

Pretty cheap deal for them really, but still decent money for us.

Free money basically. Great deal for us.

Wonderful. I'm going to assume those "other costs" are agent fees or bonuses or something, so not to NUFC.

We probably get around £15m. Let's just say his wages were £100k and skip any debate about that. That means the combination of player sales income and wage savings is roughly £10m per year for the next three years.
