Elma
Was slightly surprised to see they are banned in the NFL. A great play the other week was brought back as the receiver celebrated with a "gun celebration". Obviously has greater significance over there. I think a lot of them seem harsh over there purely down to the fact they look like they’re just signalling a first down. But aye, much greater significance. What a silly comment for someone to make "They deserve each other". We're the most in form team in the country (?) And potentially on our way to our second CL spot and second cup final in the last 3 years. Reckon a Toon target in the Championship should want to stay there personally... 🤣 Edited January 18 by Heron
SUPERTOON
Did someone say he was 6”6 ? He looks a lot smaller than that.

There was a thread where we were discussing keepers heights always being listed wrong. May have even been in here? Not a chance in hell he is 6 6”. et tu brute
Great saves to piss off the unwashed and his shithouse way he delayed the penalties was pure pisstake. Must admit though before that I wasn't very impressed. He came flying out nearly 40 yards from his goal which almost gifted Sunderland the opener, and the way he was messing about when he had the ball at his feet was putting his team under pressure all game. TRon
Price will have gone up after last night, he's making the headlines and being talked of as a future England keeper now.
Kanj
I’m all in on him now. Seems to have a cheat code on penalty kick saves, most incredibly fast on his line tbh.

Ronson333
8 consecutive clean sheets & only conceded 9 all season. I know for some he doesn’t pass the eye test, but his stats are very good for a 21 year old keeper.

Obviously it’s probably down to Burnley’s defensive structure as much as him, but there’s no way he can have the glaring faults some seem to think he has, and yet concede so few goals. AdoptedGeordieFromPompey
Watched him on Saturday and he was class. Excellent distribution but made one incredible double save mid-way through the second half where he blocked the first before springing up and denying Matt Ritchie what looked a sure goal on the rebound. Burnley do set up extremely defensively and they are a bore to watch but the back four all played well. The lad they got from Man City (Egan Riley) could easily play in the top flight. Didn't put a foot wrong. Trafford though looked like he has all the attributes to be a top top class keeper for a decade or more.

Yes, I've been impressed with Egan-Riley also, could easily make the step up.

Hope his price hasn't gone up too much based on his performance this season after we were quoted about 20m last summer
Toon No9
Burnley has only let 9 goals against them in the league this season! Closest to that in the Championship is Leeds who has 19.
Kid Icarus
I've seen highlights and read bits on here about him looking slightly dodgy, but every time I've watched him live he's looked fantastic imo, especially for England.
