JigsawGoesToPieces Posted Thursday at 19:12 Share Posted Thursday at 19:12 How many keepers do we need and why always english players. Surely there must be better and cheaper foreign young keepers out there

Danh1 Posted Thursday at 19:37 Share Posted Thursday at 19:37 Delighted if we sign him. Had my reservations last summer but from what I’ve seen this year (which has been a decent amount tbf) I’m all in. Very young for a keeper, could be number one for over a decade. Shithouse as well. Maybe not so much Vlachodimos cos he's rubbish but still.
joeyt Posted Thursday at 20:09 Share Posted Thursday at 20:09 Wonder if we'd be up for using Pope in a swap deal plus money to sweeten the deal

The Butcher Posted Thursday at 21:33 Share Posted Thursday at 21:33 Buy Trafford for 20 and send Pope the other way for 10. Win-win-ish.

TheBrownBottle Posted Thursday at 22:04 Share Posted Thursday at 22:04 I'm still confused as to why Burnley would sell a talented young goalkeeper for a loss, even though he's improved since they signed him. Don't we normally go mental when the Arsenal press / support go on like this re Isak?

Never getting 10 for Pope with his age and contract situation. I’d think 5 would be good (if we were to sell).

My reservations last summer was he needed another season learning, so was happy to sign if it was a loan out. Just never could start him from word go. He's now having that extra season and is improving his game.
Pearljam10 Posted yesterday at 07:40 Share Posted yesterday at 07:40 Romano: Newcastle agreed personal terms with James Trafford since summer 2024 and the verbal pact is still valid. He’s still top of the list as new GK for Newcastle next season.

Geogaddi Posted yesterday at 08:17 Share Posted yesterday at 08:17 (edited) Think he will be an excellent signing , seems a bit of a shithouse and a wind up as well which is only a good thing on the pitch .
