We should be trying to push one of Wilson, Almiron, Murphy or Longstaff on them rather than Minteh. Even Dan Burn as a potential Braithwaite replacement.

Crackers if true. They could get minteh for peanuts and he Could end up been a world class player. And make a boat load of profit from his sale in the future.

@Strawberry, what’s your form like when it comes to starting transfer threads? Successful or not?

I only started one so far Wilsons thread. Lets hope his replacement carry Strawberry.

Maybe you could step in on behalf of the club and do the negotiations.

Or maybe you could stop acting like a zealot and expecting everyone to be happy with every decision the club makes?

Some of the stuff being said is just so ridiculous man

Push Dan Burn to Everton as a Branthwaite replacement instead?

Do you think these people are fools?

Come on man!

With his injury record it's a very questionable signing (if true). He's not a top level player either. Would any of the other teams in the top 8 sign him, no chance whatsoever. Hopefully it's the usual Edwards bollocks

Have to say I don't much understand the blind trust so frequently paraded about on here... There's nothing disloyal to the club about calling out a transfer rumor as asinine

Strange business if it does happen, for the same price we could be getting Guirassy at Stuttgart.

Gets even more weirder with the links of Minteh going there.

Would he go somewhere to play second fiddle?

Is this a pisstake?

He’s had more sick notes than Owen.

You have David going for as low as £25m, and we go for this fucking crock?

Absolute waste of time of replacing Wilson with him.

DCL is better than Guirassy, for me.

Hard to tell, he has been linked with a host of PL clubs, but for the quoted £15-£16m for DCL, there has to be better options somewhere.

There is probably a larger plan in place with Minteh going re: PSR, but a strange development nonetheless.

Yes, they are fools. Which is why they have got in to so much trouble with FFP that they have had multiple points deductions.

Besides that, I don’t think you realise how bad your patter is. You act as a zealot following every decision the club makes in blind faith cheering it on, stating that you will remind everyone of this if it turns out well etc. Honestly, it is Twitter level stuff.

Eddie Howe might improve DCL as he has a track record of improving players. However, think how much better we would be if we signed better footballers, rather than trying to rejuvenate the careers of players that have been poor for a number of years.

Makes at least as much sense to back the club given their record as it does attack them about ffp forcing them to sell a player that's never kicked a ball in the premier league

No one will think less of your loyalty for thinking critically though... One player is wanted by a Champions League Finalist, the other is a poorer version of our already contracted backup striker

Not seen this. Wont go on the cheap Douglas said.

That takes it past the point of absurdity for me then, spending any more than £15m on him.

You're just getting yourself wound up over everything, and that's on you, so stop blaming me.

It also seems you don't quite understand the implications of FFP and PSR rules, and think we can just go out and sign all these 'better players' to fill the team.

There's a whole thread on the financial side of things and it's all been discussed to death on here, but still you don't seem to get it and would just rather complain continuously. It makes absolutely no sense.
